Great stay
We were very happy with our accommodations. Geno was very friendly and easy to communicate with. You are right in town and a quick walk from food and the harbor. The hot tub was clean and hot as promised. We would definitely stay again!

Great for Couples
Great spot near Lubec's main street. Clean, comfortable, and has everything you need for a short stay. The hot tub was the cherry on top after a long day of hiking or exploring the area. Geno was very friendly and responsive.

Beautiful town, lovely property
Geno's place was great and he was very helpful. The apartment was comfortable, well appointed, and clean. One specific logistical thing - from the pictures I was worried that there might be too much light for sleeping in the morning, but every window, including the skylights and sliding glass door have shades to cover them, so you get the best of both worlds. Lubec is such a beautiful and quaint town. Very quiet with lots of outdoor spots to explore.

Clean and great location!
Albeit we did not spend much time in the rental unit, it was a great place to come back to at the end of the day. It had everything we needed - bed, air conditioning, TV, sofa, full kitchen and a hot tub! Highly recommend this guest and stay for those exploring the area.

Beautiful Lubec
We had a lovely stay. Lubec is remote, beautiful, and just what we were looking for. Its a place for hiking, viewing wildlife, and just winding down. The apartment was small, but perfect for a couple. It was clean, tidy, and a perfect fit for our 10 days. And we loved the hottub on the porch!

Perfect Lubec Getaway
Loved this space! Perfect for the 2 of us. The deck with hot tub for 2 was perfect after hiking the many amazing trails close at hand. Great skygazing too! Thank to Geno for this lovely space, we can't wait to come back!

Quaint Studio
Perfect spot to stay during your trip to Lubec! Geno is very responsive and available if you need anything. We were able to walk to about everything we wanted to do during our stay and loved relaxing in the hottub during the evenings - you even have a view of the water from your balcony!

Charming stay for this couple
My partner and I had a nice quiet time in Lubec with a couple little trips in the area. We enjoyed this apartment, took full advantage of the hot tub, and cooked a few tasty but simple meals using the kitchen. The place is a very short walk to the quiet yet charming Main Street. Geno was quick to respond for a quick hot tub demo when we arrived and has a kind demeanor. We couldn’t imagine the stay being nicer. Clean place all around, good neighborhood, great tv, great kitchen. Cozy.

Just what the Dr ordered
Great (2nd) stay in Lubeq! We Really enjoy the apartment. Sitting in the hot tub on a clear night will give amazing views of the asteroid belt. Meteor showers while we were there were a big bonus. So many great hikes in the area. If you care more about the ocean/surroundings than shops and what not?. Holler at Geno! We never even saw him, but the man is always available to help/answer questions at any time. Everything was great regarding our stay! See you summer 2023? :) Cole

Apartment on second story above garage. As advertised. Perfect room for 2. Centrally located with nice views overlooking downtown Lubec. The deck hot tub on a starry night was amazing. Owner very responsive and lives nearby.

Anniversary in Lubec
Great little getaway for two. 2nd floor level gives you a good view and catches the ocean breezes. Deck is great for relaxing and viewing stars from the hot tub at night. Lubec itself is a lovely town, very quiet, great for walks and observing old houses many of which are restored. The breezes that flow between the ocean and the bay are so refreshing. Host is very helpful and friendly!

Pleasant stay
The space was attractive, clean and had everything we needed. Deck was lovely, but the mosquitoes were too thick to enjoy it. While we were out, the wind blew in the screen over the kitchen sink. Combined with gaps in the other screens, there were a lot of voracious mosquitos to contend with inside as well. Not sure why we were charged a hot tub fee as we didn't use it. Guests should exercise caution as the path and stairs leading to the unit can be quite slippery when the fog and rain roll in. Recommend cleaning and securing the bathroom ceiling fan.

Great location for walking in town
The property is high on a hill, with views of Campobello Island. Geno is a super nice guy, full of energy. During the weekend of our stay, he hosted a party at the church building that he had just finished refurbishing as an small event venue, basketball court, and living quarters next door. It was fun to watch Geno and his very talented young son shoot baskets and take turns as DJ playing dance music to shoot by. Afterwards, we returned to our apartment and sat in the hot tub with the moon and stars peeking out from behind the moving clouds. We had a grand time!

solo travel + pet friendly
Perfect home base for me and my dog to explore some Bold Coast and Cobscook Shores trails. The hot tub was especially nice after a day of hiking. The kitchen is minimally equipped but serviceable if you plan to do any cooking. It was not perfectly clean, but nothing terrible (inside of the oven, some dishes needed rewashing). Geno was friendly and responsive. I loved my little getaway in Lubec and would definitely stay here again.

Really enjoyed staying here. A minutes walk from the restaurants and the coast. Reasonable drive to other locations. Property was peaceful, the owner accommodating and responsive. I would definitely stay again when I come back.

Simply Fantastic!!!
We absolutely LOVED our little apartment ❤️. Perfect for 2 people. The bed was super comfortable. The heat came up thru the floor. Large TV with all the bells and whistles. Clean Clean Clean. Very nicely decorated. Walking distance to Main Street downtown. And, best if all, very large windows across the front and 3 ceiling windows. We'll be back, often.

Enjoyed our stay, the location and host was approachable and responsive. The amenities did not match the cost of the stay. The oven did not work (we were not warned in advance), there was only one burner that worked on the gas range. There were mice poops in the cupboards. Could use some updates but great location.

A perfect cozy spot for a quiet getaway.
Had a great stay in Lubec! The studio is just as listed and has everything you need for a quiet getaway. The hot tub is great. The bed is comfortable. Walk to downtown and a beach for dog walking. Lubec is sleepy in the off-season, but you will be happy sleeping here. :)

Quiet & Relaxing Apartment in the Heart of Lubec
I really loved my stay at this apartment; the space was comfortable, bright (including a few skylights!) and provided a great home base for exploring Lubec and the surrounding area. I enjoyed walking through the town and taking the short drive to Quoddy Head for an afternoon of hiking. Geno was a communicative and welcoming host; the apartment has a no-contact check in, which was perfect for me since I was arriving late at night. Geno came over the next morning to welcome me and make sure everything was good with the apartment. He also allowed me to use the washer and dryer on the property which was really helpful since I was able to avoid having to find a laundromat. My favorite part of my stay here was, of course, the hot tub! It was a perfect end to the day: watching the sun set from the deck and then getting into the hot tub to watch the stars. I definitely hope to return to Lubec someday and would happily stay here again!

My wife, dog and I had a wonderful weekend in Lubec....thanks in no small part to our accommodations. Location was terrific and the amenities were just as advertised. Hot tub was perfect. We'll be back next year!

Heavenly Haven Under the Stars
Geno, the owner was just terrific. What a creative and energetic guy. Very responsive to questions. The hot tub was a highlight on the private deck where it was dark enough to view satellites, shooting stars and the Milky Way! Lubec is a lovely little harbor town. Some of the rundown buildings speak to a time gone by when the fishing/sardine industry was in it’s heyday. But some charming, newer businesses are keeping the town going. It was great to be there off-season without the summer crowds.

Pleasant Retreat atop Lubec Hill
Lovely efficiency perched at the top of Lubec - a bit of the bay visible in the distance, but even without a direct water view the deck is a wonderful place to chill in the sunshine. For us this was a great base for the fabulous walking and hiking in the area - from the Bold Coast Cutler walk to the Cobscook trail network.

Great spot for anniversary weekend away!
Great stay at this lovely apartment in Lubec! A perfect place for a romantic get-away. The hot tub was wonderful- a lovely place to soak and look at the stars after a long day of hiking and boating. Lubec is such a sweet town, the coastal hike at Quoddy is breathtaking, saw whales and had a fun trip on the cute ferry over to Eastport. Shout-out also to the small brewery down the street -delicious beer!

Quaint, modern studio with picturesque backdrop
This pet friendly studio apartment is perfect for a single traveller or couple especially if you enjoy bringing your small or medium four legged companion; though the stairs up to the apt may be difficult for an arthritic pup with hip issues. The studio is situated in walking distance to downtown Lubec and Mowry beach. The hot tub is divine and the WIFI with streaming services included is a nice added bonus. Geno is laid back, responsive and accommodating. My stay occurred during a hot and humid weather spell and when I expressed discomfort in the apt temperature, Geno quickly installed an AC making my stay much more comfortable and enjoyable. Thank you! Additionally, an abundance of hiking trails, local shops, rocky beaches, Fisherman’s Wharf restaurant where you can experience a real Maine lobster dinner, West Quoddy Head Light and a small grocery store are all within a short drive. A lovely, coastal getaway void of tourist crowds!

Great location
We loved the little town of Lubec! It was one of our favorite stops on our month long road trip in Maine. This apartment was clean and very convenient to downtown. Geno was a great host. The apartment was quite small for the two of plus our two dogs. It worked for two nights but next time I would have rented the house below. The apartment is above a garage with an outside deck. If the house is rented be prepared to hear the other guests inside the apartment when they are outside. There is no air conditioning so you have the windows open and we found the guests staying in the house to be quite noisy. The only other complaint was that we had rented this apartment for the jacuzzi but when we arrived it was broken. It would have been nice to have gotten some notice or a bit of a refund.

Hot tub is now working. I’m sorry that you did not get a refund. I thought I had put that through. Two dogs and two people was to much.

Beautiful Spot
My husband, myself and two dogs stayed comfortably here. Geno was responsive and a wonderful host. We spent most of our time exploring and the rental was perfectly sized for just us. The property is close to EVERYTHING you could possibly see in Lubec. We hope to visit again soon.

Great experience
We really enjoyed our time! Geno was great and very helpful. We did have some experience with "Covid" holdovers such as limited restaurant times, etc but we cooked in a wonderful kitchen, enjoyed fresh lobster, and relaxed around the pool and great fire pit. It is a great house, perfect for 8 adults. We also rented the apartment with the hot tub and it is lovely also. Geno is a great host, the house is well-equipped, it is a perfect recipe for a wonderful vacation!

R and R to the max
The studio apartment is within walking distance of everything in town and is just the place to have a glass of wine on the deck and to take time to just relax. Lubec itself has the same relaxed feel. Geno, the owner, is very responsive and laid back. The apartment was nice and clean. The full kitchen was a definite plus.

This was a perfect place to stay! It is an short walk to everything in Lubec and an easy drive to Quoddy Head. We also drove to Reversing Falls and Eastport. Really pretty area. We loved having a full kitchen to cook and enjoyed our mornings on deck. The hot tub was an awesome end to our days of sightseeing.

Cozy stay in a unique costal town
My husband, our two dogs and I spent Memorial Day weekend here and we had a great time. The apartment is private, cozy and quiet. You have everything you need to cook and be comfortable. The hot tub was nice to relax in under the stars and you can see the water from the deck. Geno is very cool, friendly, laid back and quick to reply if you need him. Private driveway to park in. You can walk to almost anything in town within a few minutes and with relative ease. We felt totally comfortable and relaxed here and look forward to staying at Geno’s property again! Lubec has such a unique feel to it, almost like being transported back in time. It feels different than the rest of coastal Maine, more genuine and authentic. Most of our stay we felt like we had the entire town to ourselves when walking our dogs around the neighborhoods. Everyone we interacted with was friendly. Restaurants were busy and bustling, but you rarely passed by another vehicle on the roads. Tons of old, beautiful homes. I walked around looking at most of them in awe, wishing I could go inside and explore them all. The area feels rich with history. There are still church bells that play out a full song (still wondering what the song was) a few times a day. There’s also an adorable husky/malamute looking dog at a house down the street that howls along with the church bells! It’s really unlike anyplace else. We will be back!
