"JHale Oak Farm has obviously been a well appointed family home now perhaps a little tired in decor and equipment. However it provided a good value, ideal space for our family to meet up over half term week.The house is in a beautiful rural situation. We enjoyed walks in the surrounding countryside and a trip on the local restored canal.Ken was a most helpful and accessible host even advising us how to lower the Aga temperature in a heat wave! Many thanks."

"Lovely property in a beautiful peaceful setting perfect for our short get away just wish we could have stayed longer. Great location for exploring the area and has everything you need for a very comfortable stay. Hosts are lovely, really can’t fault anything about our stay. "traditional pub with very friendly staff and good quality food. the flat is above the pub but has its own entrance. You can hear people downstairs but this didn't disturb us. We ate both evening we were there and it was excellent and very good value. The flat is in the oldest part of the pub and as such the door frames are low but the ceilings are fine. There was everything we needed and it was nice and clean. Very good value for 2 couples."
