Cozy cabin in the Adirondacks

  • Rustic cozy cabin in the beautiful upstate New York Adirondack Park. This cabin is a 2 bed 1 bath with full kitchen and living room. The property sits on about 1 acre of land surrounded by woods. There is a deck along with fire pit and hammock in the back yard. There are 3 lakes nearby (Beaver lake, Francis lake and Stillwater reservoir) with some great kayaking and boating. Great local trails for hiking and in the winter some of the best snowmobiling. Plenty of nearby state land for hunting as well. The property is roughly 18 miles from Lowville, NY and roughly 35 miles from Old Forge, NY. Close to the Tug hill region as well. Great property for the outdoor enthusiast or just a quiet getaway. 2 night minimum stay (inquire about 1 night stays) and flexible booking with daily, weekly, monthly or even seasonal rental. Come stay with us!

The coziest Cabin

My wife and I stayed here for one night as a little retreat. The cabin was clean and comfortable. The location in close proximity to two lakes made the stay more enjoyable. Highly recommend this to those just trying to take a break from their normal lives and live in nature.

Great country relaxation

I loved everything. Its was wonderful. The house is beautiful. We enjoyed the large secluded back yard was nice and peaceful. I will definitely rent again when i visit the area.

Better than the pictures

This cabin is super cute and cozy. I was pleasantly surprised when we arrived as the pictures don't do it justice. It was very clean and the heater worked great, keeping us warm. Be sure to bring your own bedsheets, but there were plenty of bath towels and kitchen supplies. The host answered all my questions and was very pleasant to work with.

The Property Cabin and Inside Where as It should be. Older couches one closer to wood stove Very Uncomfortable. Great place to Stay for couples not 100 percent for an older person. Outside land very hard to navigate for older or Disabled people

Cozy little cabin in the woods

Cute little cabin in the woods, with a lot of backwoods roads, perfect for motorcycle riding. It was perfect for 4 adults. Had a lot of amenities such as coffee pot, silverware, dishes,toaster & microwave just to name a few. Had bedding, toiletries & washer & dryer on site. Also had a grill on the back deck & an outdoor fire pit. Everything you pretty much need.Within 90 minutes you can visit 1000 islands, Clayton, Alexandria Bay & Old Forge. River Rat Cheese in the 1000 Islands has the best cheese around. Don't forget to tour Boldt Castle by Uncle Sam's boat tours in Alexandria Bay. If you've got kids, they'd love to visit the Enchanted Forest Water Safari water park in Old Forge. Or just go & relax in the woods around a campfire. If you're in the area & need a place to stay, i would definitely recommend checking this cabin out.

Simple rustic cabin. Easy to find, a nice size and good price for our family. The kitchen made meals much easier than tent camping! No hood over the stove so the smoke alarm went off while cooking. Loved the deck with table for eating outside. Kids appreciated the Wi-Fi. Lots of blankets, be sure to bring your own bedsheets as none were provided. Bring campfire wood also if you plan to use the fire pit. There are neighbors but the area is remote and peaceful. Perfect location for enjoying hiking trails or lakes nearby!

Disappointed and uncomfortable

Sasha was excellent to deal with. Available to answer all questions and give info when needed. It had all the amenities and everything you could need. Tv and programming good. Beds were old and sagging, couches fair, had a hard time with opening and closing windows, odor in master bedroom, limited tables and towels, no washclothes, no curtains on front or back door windows and could have been cleaned up a bit. Kitchen and bathroom ok. Other than that lots of dust under beds, floors and on ceilings.

Ladybugs 🐞

This property was okay, it was neat and organized but the owner had left some products in the bathroom drawer that were half used and my family was unsure wether to use them or not. Same thing with the fridge, for the most part it was empty but there were Half used condiments. It was in the woods, so of course we expected some critters, but the house was absolutely SWARMING with lady bugs. Didn’t bother us, so we just left them be but they were absolutely everywhere. Overall the property is pretty far away from everything, so if that’s what your looking for then it’s pretty good!

A Good Place to Stay

We stayed for two nights. It was a nice place to stay but has a few things to improve upon. In summer, the heat inside the cabin can be difficult to adjust to. A small window AC unit would be a good addition. One of the two ceiling fans is off balance causing a rubbing noise when on. A couple of table lamps would also be a good addition. The light over the sink looks damaged and should not be used. The baseboard in front of the stove blocks anyone from opening the broiler door. Upon arrival, the fridge had some old and expired food left behind by others.
