"Place was unmanned so was abit of a hassle to check in rooms very very dated shower leaking badly through the toilet wall. wall and roof paint was terrible the grounds where dirty. old mattresses dump down the side of the building the bath was capped off and only heating was a wherehouse heater for the whole appointment"

"Great place to stay in Methven handy to the mountain. Rooms were well set up with good clothes drying rails. Heater did the trick! Bed linen clean and fresh. Two nights was enough on the mattress. Older style shower over bath but water hot. Very noisy from other guests but to be expected with early morning starts for the mountain.
