"We loved our stay at the Saltbox . Very unique property. It has everything you need and lots of extra touches . Beautifully decorated to fit the location and time period . Also nice touches like books about the area and things connected to fishing industry (knot tying instruction kit ) . A lovely area to explore . We were there to go to the Wooden Boat Museum . "We had a wonderful stay in Grates Cove. The house was fantastic, with an amazing view of the cove and well stocked with everything we needed. We were fortunate to have met the neighbor (father of owner), who treated us like royalty. Dave Sr. hooked us up with the most delicious lobster you can imagine. What an experience we had! The experience, the warmth of Dave Sr. and the house itself deserve more than the 5 star rating. Thanks for a great stay. The Rodens"

"This property served as the perfect place for a secluded getaway for a larger group. All the charm of an old church beautifully renovated with lots of bedrooms, and a very spacious common area with various hang out areas and large kitchen. Lots of outdoor deck space overlooking endless barrens and ocean views.The host is always very quick to reply with any questions."
