The Urban Loft was a perfect place to come home to after a fun day of touring distilleries, learning about the horse industry and stopping in quaint towns in the area. The large loft supplied all the amenities we needed and provided comfortable clean bedrooms and bathrooms. We really enjoyed the rooftop outdoor living space while enjoying the beautiful fall evenings. Ben was easy to work with and responded to any questions we had. It is perfect for any families or friend groups visiting the area.

Perfect location for Bourbon Trail visit

A group of 10 guys stayed at this property for a Bourbon Trail excursion. This property was absolutely perfect. - Shelbyville was a great option due to its location in the middle of Louisville, Frankfort and Bardstown - it was easy to visit distilleries in each area using Shelbyville as a base. And the town itself was great - nice coffee shops and a brewpub across the street. The property itself was stunning. The main room and open kitchen were great for a big catered dinner (we highly recommend Bill Walters), and the man cave was fun as well. Bedrooms were nice too. It was really a perfect setup for a big group wanting to explore the Bourbon Trail. Thanks again!

Beautiful Home Perfect Location

Could not ask for a better place for my husband and his friends to celebrate his birthday and enjoy the bourbon trail. Everything was perfect, all 8 guys had a comfy place to sleep and plenty of room to stretch out. Everyone came back home telling their family how much they could have brought them along to see the home. Beautiful!

50th Birthday Girls Trip

The Loft is Amazing! The pictures don't do it justice and some are not up to date. The pink and green rooms are beige and the school room has been updated. The second master bedroom looks much better in person than in the picture. The Master Bathroom is awesome. There are so many little details in this loft that just add to such an amazing experience. The outside sitting area is right off the kitchen with lots of seating. You can be under cover or sit out in the open air. There are steep steps leading from the street up to the loft just as an FYI. If you are driving your own car there, the parking is on the street but finding a spot was never an issue. The property managers were so incredible to work with! They received and put away all our groceries we had delivered before we arrived. They responded quickly to any text I sent. They recommend a private chef who I worked with to have Charcuterie and Crudité boards waiting for us upon arrival. They both were beautiful and delicious!I would absolutely recommend you to stay at this loft if you are traveling with a group. There is a lot of space to be together and to also have your own space for some quiet time. It is also in a great location to put together a day trip to visit local horse farms, distilleries and local wine tasting and shopping.Thank you Ben and Melinda!

Wedding Party HQ

For 5 days my closest friends and family called the Loft our Headquarters. Perfectly located between Louisville, Lexington, Frankfort, and Bardstown we were able to explore the best of Kentucky and return home to a space built for community. The large dining table, enormous couch, spacious kitchen, outdoor patio, and perfectly accommodating rooms fit the varied needs of every activity we could dream of. It was a fairy tale trip largely due to the magical Loft.

Pretty than the pictures- a vibrant home in a small town vibe

Gorgeous. And I mean gorgeous home. Staircase up was a bit steep so be mindful for those who may have bad knees or difficulty climbing steps). But wow. Huge windows, bathrooms were insane, kitchen was large enough to feed 15 hangry girls. Stereo through house was an added bonus -able to adjust volumes in different rooms. Great for a group of friends. The bachelorette stunned by how beautiful the home was- we had so much fun and I’m so glad we picked this place!

Perfect Home for a Family Christmas

My family and I met here for Christmas, as we live in different states, and it was absolutely perfect. The home was beautiful, incredibly clean, and had everything we could possibly need. The location was ideal, and the host’s communication was outstanding. It truly felt like a home away from home. A 10 out of 10 experience—would highly recommend to anyone!

Shelbyville perfection

The photos don't lie. This vrbo unit was beautiful, well decorated, thoughfully furnished, and well equipped for groups. Shelbyville itself was also a sweet surprise, with ample restaurants, coffee shops, grocery stores, a brewery across street, etc.

Uban Loft - Shelbyville, KY

This property met all of out needs. We had 5 couples stay. We each had our own room and plenty of bathrooms. It was very clean and had everything we needed in the kitchen. The location was perfect as we did the bourbon trail hitting up Louisville, Bardstown and Frankfort. We also did the horse races at Keeneland. It was the perfect central location with great places to eat in walking distance. Thank you, Ben for your hospitality.

AMAZING Venue for Team Meeting

We booked your location for a Team Meeting. It amazing. We had your suggested chef, Bill Walters, come in to make us dinner and that was amazing. We even hired your suggested transportation person, Ben to drive our team to a location for bourbon tour. So neat to have had the owner join us for drinks one night as well. Perfect location and accommodations!

Perfect property! The accommodations were so perfect we never went out to eat anywhere. We always bought food at the grocery store and cooked at the house. We had 8 adults and there was always plenty of space.

We had all our family under one roof for my nephews wedding at The Gatsby right next door. We had the best time ever!! The town was great too. Cute stores in town that are all walking distance. We loved the loft, so spacious and beautiful. Just what we were looking for being all together

The loft was amazing. Everything you could want was included. However the outdoor deck cushions were worn and had holes and tears. The stairs to the loft were steep and narrow. Our host had double booked the last day of our stay.
