Historic gem

Perfect location for our family in town for a wedding. Walking distance to restaurants and retail in quaint downtown Jeffersonville. Easy drive into Louisville and 15 minutes from the airport.

Jeffersonville for Bourbon and Beyond

We had a very good stay at this residence. The house is historic and situated in a quaint historic neighborhood. There is a very large gated backyard and plenty of space inside the house. The festival grounds where the concert was were about 15 minute drive away, so staying in Jeffersonville was very convenient. We would definitely rent this place again.

Nice

Over all the places was nice. Old house but kept nice. Floors could have bean cleaned better and ac needs a too toon-up. Cold upstairs and warm on the main floor. We would stay here again.

Parking in front of the home was perfect. Walkable to the downtown area of Jeffersonville. This is a beautiful, quaint town with super nice people. Lyft/Uber into downtown Louisville was available (about $20 one way). Property was not thoroughly clean prior to arrival; however, communication with the property manager was fantastic. Home easily occupies 5-7 people... we never ran out of hot water. Bring facecloths with you, none were provided. Please visit the local town - it is adorable!

Ohio River Winter Getaway

We had such a wonderful long weekend at the Gem of Jeffersonville! From cool books to browse through, beautiful yard for my two 🐕 🐕 and an a beautifully remodeled home 🏡 over 100 years old. Love the little town, Jeffersonville and the many things to do in the Louisville area. Totally recommend this whole experience to somebody who just needs to get away like we did!

Loved the location and the house was awesome. Great details in woodworking and craftsmen ship throughout the house. Walking distance to restaurants and big four walking bridge. Great communication. Only drawback was noticed a bit of dog/cat hair throught the home. Nothing to drastic but could use a nice deep clean. Highly revommended stay for anyone looking to stay in Jeff/ Louisville.

Clean, Comfortable, and welcoming.

We had 8 people and two dogs on our trip. The home was decorated very tastefully and was nice and clean. We all (including the dogs) enjoyed the porch and the fully fenced in yard. If we ever have occasion to return to the area, we would stay here again!

Great location on historic property

We enjoyed our stay in this beautiful historic home! It was so close to downtown Jeffersonville and the river; we walked there daily. The property had everything we could need and was quite spacious.

Great house, poor communication

The location is perfect and the house is comfortable. The kitchen supplies are minimalistic but adequate if you are planning to eat out most of the time. A mixing bowl/salad bowl, more than one kitchen towel, and some smaller kid size drinking cups would have been appreciated. The main problem was I could not and cannot communicate with the host. Maybe this is a management company and not a real person. When I emailed about a problem at 8am I didn’t get a response and when I checked again the next day I was told he didn’t respond because he had already gone to bed for the night? The real problem is it has been 48 hours since we left and I’ve tried twice to contact them about the fact that my daughter left two prescription medications in the bathroom, asking to ship them to us at our expense and no response. So, the house is fine just don’t expect a warm welcome or any help.

A Gem Indeed!

Wonderful property! Every bit as nice as advertised. Beautiful-classic house with modern amenities and decor. Check-in was a breeze and host was wonderful My daughter had a school event in Louisville, and this was such an easy/stress-free commute to get back-and-forth to downtown. Would definitely recommend this property, and will gladly stay here again!!

Family vaction!

My family and myself loved this house! We are a family of 6 with one dog. Everyone had their own space and wasnt cramped on top of each other. Our dog loved the large fenced in backyard. It's a quiet neighborhood. You will be walking distance to several food options and boutique shopping. The host Jonathan is top notch! He went above and beyond from getting us a early check in on short notice to checking in to see if we needed anything midstay! Most importantly we felt safe and at home!

Great Location

We knew nothing about Jeffersonville, IN before our stay. We were just looking for a place to stop on our drive from Texas to Maine that allowed dogs and had a fenced in back yard. We were pleasantly surprised by the area. The home was lovely and the town is a hidden gem. We would definitely recommend this home to others.

Relax and refresh

Such a wonderful and quiet place to stay. Ive always stayed at hotels but this home changed that forever. Plenty of room to stretch out and relax after a busy day of site seeing and adventure with frieds or family. Close enough to the festivities of Jeffersonvile, yet far enough away to enjoy some peace.

Lovely Restored Home in Cute Town!

This was a really well done restoration of an old home in Jeffersonville. Jeffersonville is a neat town with fun food and places to walk. We were 10-15 minutes from Boyce College in Louisville, so the location was great. The home was clean and just what we were expecting. The owner responded very quickly to our questions and made sure that things were covered for us. We were all comfortable and made sweet memories together as a family!

Great location! Close to city but far enough away.

2 colleagues and I traveled to Louisville for a conference but didn't want to stay in the conference hotel. The Gem of Jeffersonville was perfect for us! The drive to the conference was 8 minutes and the location gave us the exact atmosphere to relax after a long day in sessions. The house is adorable and is decorated perfectly. The bed was cozy, the kitchen was appointed well and I loved the squeaky floors. I especially enjoyed the back porch for having my morning coffee.
