"Wonderful location right on the water with soft sand. The vball net and soccer balls/goals for were a welcome addition as well. One minor downside was that most of the outdoor plastic chairs at our cabin were usable but damaged and cracked. "

"We really enjoyed our stay! The cabin was very roomy, beautiful yard, quiet neighborhood! Lots for the kids to do, they loved the air hockey! The host was great, we had a little hiccup the first day, and he handled it immediately, was very nice and easy to get ahold of! I was a little nervous because there was no air conditioning but we opened the windows and it was perfect. We would definitely book here again"

"The cabin was great!!! Super clean and beautifully decorated. Kitchen was well stocked with all needed utensils. Lovely, considerate extras: ice, bottled water, fresh flowers, and so much more! We spent 2 nights as a couple and 2 more as grandparents of 2 boys (3&10). Such valuable memories and happy experiences. Beach was quiet and clean with anything you could hope for!!! So grateful for Carmen’s generosity. "

"Wonderful week at a remote waterfront Lake Huron house. Bring everything you will need, as you are 30 minutes north of Oscoda and about 30 minutes south of Alpena. There is a dollar general nearby and a wonderful restaurant 10 min north but true shopping is limited. The house is spacious and located just off a rocky shore beach point with great access for swimming, canoeing, kayaking, paddleboarding, etc. Recommend bringing drinking water as well. "It’s a good location to do everything Northern east coast from Mackinac Island to Tawas and points inland. The cabin is spacious enough and the beds are comfortable. The bathroom is very small, but you don’t want to spend a lot of time in there anyway. Communication with the host was/is excellent and timely. "We were thrilled to be on the Thunder Bay river. My family likes to fish off the dock. It is shallow at this point and peacful. We were able to use one kayak. The second kayak was too filled with rain.water and too heavy for us to turn over and drain it. The deck is a lovely place to sit or eat and watch the river, except that the seat cushions were soaked with rain water also. I suggest a deck storage box to store the seat cushions when not in use. this will keep them dry and ready for use....

"Great location on Cedar Lake. Our group had a great time even though the weather didn’t cooperate for us. Host was easy to contact with questions, everything was ready for us when we arrived. House was nice and comfortable for our group to enjoy. The pontoon & golf cart were a huge plus!!! Thank you"

"We came for a family vacation. We were very happy with the house. It had everything we needed. It was very spacious and comfortable We brought my elderly mother and it was very easy for her to get around. Nice having a main floor bedroom and full bath. We loved sitting outside. Beautiful view and very peaceful. It was close to town and conveniently located to everything we wanted to do. We would definitely stay again!"
