Location, amenities, absolutely perfect for our group

This is a gorgeous home! As a family, we have been to Cabo several times, always stayed in Pedregal, but decided to try Quivira which has been building up since we first started traveling there. We are thrilled w our decision! Literally this house has Everything you need ... from pool lounges to toiletries to THE MARGARITA Machine they have it all. Beautiful scenery, beautiful 1st floor interior that just opens up to the landscape. We are a family of 7 traveling together, everything is as described. I read a couple of reviews that said bring washer pods, kcups or what ever, don't. They even had a high end coffee stock in the fridge (that we replaced cause it was so good with 7 of us we went through it!) The community is awesome, there is a little club house a quick walk away w a beautiful pool, spa, drinks & food. And a larger community center a quick golf cart away with all the restaurant options you can imagine. I would jump at the chance to go back!

Peaceful and wonderful experience

Initially, I was concerned about the size of the house with 3 couples as in the past we have always rented larger homes. However, this home was the perfect size, the shared living space has an open floor plan allowing everyone to gather comfortably in the kitchen/dining/living room. The rooftop gives you an amazing view of the ocean and golf course. If you have golfers in the group, they have entered into paradise. I would suggest booking tee times months in advance. The resort property is huge with many restaurants and pools to enjoy. They have the cutest market with all of the food and desserts you could imagine. Renting a golf cart is critical to navigate the property. When venturing out we used the Copala Concierge that was phenomenal at quickly scheduling transportation out of the property. The sunsets at the clubhouse are breathtaking with a very chic Miami vibe on the beach. Downtown Cabo is only 2 miles away but it takes about 25 minutes to get there due to leaving the pottery and traffic. Kathleen did an amazing job at recommending an amazing chef and offering specific check-in instructions. Her team was quick with answering questions. 10/10, would definitely return.

The perfect vacation

What can I say that this was a wonderful vacation. All of pictures which were great but don’t do this Villa proper justice. It’s better when you get there. This is the most well thought out VRBO that we have ever stayed in. Beautiful house design and interior design were off the charts and Kathleen has thought of every thing known to mankind in the kitchen, 2 BBQ’s, 2 Jacuzzi’s, home gym, putting green and fun games. The roof top deck was outstanding and a Wonderful host. This exceeded our expectations and thank you to Kathleen for letting our large family to use your outstanding Villa.

Birthday Celebration

We had a wonderful week with our family to celebrate a "special" Birthday. The house is superbly equipped and the location is great. The owner was very helpful with communications. Really recommend this property!

Beautiful Property, Wonderful Family Vacation

Our family of six adults and a toddler had a wonderful time here. We could not get over how well the house is equipped. We have stayed at Pacifica many times but can't with a toddler so this was a great option for us. Very comfortable, the host overlooked nothing in outfitting the house. If you like to cook there is every cooking tool you could imagine. We used the private chef she recommended and the meals were delicious. Highly recommend this property.

Gorgeous Retreat Type Home!

3 couples enjoyed this beautiful house and all the thoughtful amenities! Everything you could ever want for in a kitchen, in exercise and pool accessories, even the comfortable bedrooms. bathrooms and seating areas were wonderful. Getting a ride to and from was the only challenge because of all the security gates but we got that figured out. Thank you for a lovely stay!

Wifes 50th Birthday

Words cant express how Kathleen home is. Everything you can think of is in this property. My wife was totaled surprised by the house and family showing up. The pool, the outdoor space, the rooftop, pool table, hot tub and the kitchen was OUTSTANDING. The bedrooms with the en suites was great. The weather was beautiful and the view from the rooftop is like a postcard. Sitting on the golf course watching people play was a great addition to the overall experience. Kathleen did an great job with every aspect of the home. Love the whale and cactus theme and the added experience with robes in every bedroom. This is the best home I have stayed in and my family agrees with me and cant wait to plan our next trip with Kathleen.

Great Copala home!

Beautiful, well appointed home in great community with access to resorts. Golf and ocean views. We enjoyed 3rd floor rooftop patio for whale watching. Kathleen was very responsive and easy to work with. She provided much information about golf, restaurants, resort and local interests. We look forward to a future visit. Whale be coming back to Casa Ballena

Amazing views from Casa Ballena. Perfect layout for our group to spread out with all the kitchen amenities you will need to make family meals and dine with a view! The house was clean and beautifully decorated. We enjoyed the whale touches throughout! We loved the putting green, cornhole and several of the board games as well as the firepit each evening! Only a few minor maintenance issues with toilets running and 3 of the 4 showers not draining properly and running out onto the floors. We did enjoy the hot tub, but the pool was too cold this last week of April, so we went to the heated clubhouse pool (an added plus was the ability to order food and drinks!)

Fantastic!!

Beautiful. and well appointed home. After a long pandemic this was the perfect home for relaxing and recharging. Fantastic home for family trips with plenty to do for young and old. Kathleen is a great owner providing so much information about golf, restaurants etc. We rented a car to give us more flexibility to go places but the shuttle on the resort property and to downtown were also great. We were very impressed with how COVID-aware everyone is at Pueblo Bonito and in Cabo. As rates increased back home we felt safer in Cabo!

Almost as good as it gets!

It’s clear there was a lot of thought put into making this an easy, comfortable place to stay. Lots of little things made it stand out to me. I have some small nit picks, but overall it was a wonderful experience. Kathleen was helpful/friendly, the house was what we needed, Copala / Quivira is a great community! Best equipped rental ever

Incredible property and the best equipped rental we’ve ever stayed at. It has everything you need and a bunch of stuff you didn’t know you needed but are glad they are there. Easy access/check-in on arrival and everything was very clean. The pool, spas, BBQs and all the toys made for a fun stay. It is out there a bit and we recommend that you rent a golf cart and/or car if you need/want to get anywhere on your own schedule.

There was difficulty obtaining passage to Pueblo Bonito and Pacifica.

There was difficulty obtaining passage to Pueblo Bonito, Montecristo and Pacifica. And there was a surcharge for every dining experience at the Pueblo Bonito, Montecristo and Pacifica. When we attempted signing for the all exclusive we did not know we had to do that oNLY at the Montecristo check in.

Home away from home

We did a friends’ trip with 4 couples. There was plenty of room for everybody and the house had everything we needed. Great views from the decks including seeing whales. Shuttle service to pools and restaurants at the resort was very slow. Try to plan your pick ups as far ahead as possible. We have been to Cabo many times and stayed at Copala in the past. We highly recommend this property and will definitely stay here again!

Really nice house! Great for families!

This was a really nice property, well appointed with everything you need! The beds were super comfy, rooftop deck with jacuzzi and fireplace was a fun place to hang out! The resort amenities were great as well. The only drawback is the house is near the edge of the resort and there is only one shuttle to the pools and restaurants at the resort which sometimes took awhile to get. I would definitely stay here again though!
