great unit!

I stayed here with my dad over the weekend and it was perfect! the beds (king size in bedroom, and queen size pull out sofa) were both really comfy, and we loved the decor and homey feel inside the unit. definitely recommend!

Clean apartment

This apartment is clean. It has a comfy bed. It does smell like cleaning supplies when you walk in, which is very strong, but also good to know it has been cleaned! The apartment is warm, and the thermostat seems to be on some schedule, so it was hard to get the apartment cooler through the apartments AC, but there are fans throughout that did help. The bedroom window has no light protection, so be prepared to have the sun in your room as soon as it rises! I would prefer to have some sort of light resistant curtains, as that could have helped with the warmth in the apartment as well. Overall it was a great place for us, as we literally just slept there for two nights. The owner was great though, we had to make a change to our days and he was very responsive and assisted to make sure that we got the correct amount of money back.

We had a very nice stay at this apartment. Joel quickly responded to any questions or issues. Pool area was great, and a hiking trail was located a couple blocks from apartment…nice plus for us!

Lovely

Lovely condo. We had issues with the AC the first couple of days but the owner quickly responded and repaired in a couple days (longer because of a holiday). We really enjoyed this place. My parents would stay here again! Thank you!!

Convenient and lots of amenities

The bath towels were torn and the bedding had stains, felt dirtry and the carpet needed cleaning. The size of the rental was very nice for the rate and the furniture was nice. The kitchen and appliances were newer and in great working condition. The water facets had little water pressure and the tub/shower was old and didn't feel clean. The amount of amenities inside the unit and of the property were great. But the pool chairs and deck were covered in bird droppings and dirty. The host was great with communication and offered generous amount of coffee, creamers, soaps and paper products. Nicely furnished and attractive.

Great location and pool area

The apartment was dated but spotless and centrally located - very convenient to the Thousand Oaks area. WiFi was fast and the pool area was super. It would be nice to have larger bath towels as the ones provided were slightly larger than hand towels. Overall a good place to stay and thank you for hosting us.

Carbon monoxide Alarm

The check in was little bumpy. The moment we entered the apartment, the carbon monoxide alarm went off. I was with kids so it was scary. The fire department came in within ten minutes and it was disarmed. They did not find any carbon monoxide, but I was little scared to sleep in with kids. The instructions to apartments were not clear, as he only gave us the building number, so we had to figure out the apartment number.

convenient to the 101, this small unit could be good for someone who just needs a place to sleep. The Wi-Fi was good and the fitness club and pool are available. It’s difficult to find because the building (605) is in the third row of buildings back from the street and the unit number (422) is not listed anywhere. Some little amenities were missing. The room is quite dark, and the blinds to the one window dont work, so no daylight gets in. The unit was generally clean, but the old-style shower curtain was moldy and the towels were threadbare. The big Roku TV’s didn’t have any cable channels (no live news). There were a lot of little things that made the unit just adequate.

Was cancelled on 24hr before reservation

I'm sure this would have been a great stay but the host cancelled our reservation 24hr before our arrival because the AC broke and the unit needed maintenance. We had to find last minute accommodations for our trip on our own.

Clean and well-equipt

My husband and I spent 4 nights at this rental while we were visiting frinds. It was claen and had everything we needed. The entire apartment complex was quiet and well kept. I highly recommend this unit if staying in the area.

Stop! Just book it!!

We loved it here so much!! It was very clean, beautifully decorated, and the perfect space for our stay. The bed is really comfortable. The closet is nice and big to suit your needs. There’s a huge pantry off the kitchen, it was so convenient and great to have! There was lots of space in the bathroom to put your things in. Lots of conveniently located plugs to charge things around the house. We loved having the jacuzzi and swimming pool, they were wonderful after a long day. It’s so beautiful in that area too! This house is a must book! It’s close to everything, you’re right near all of the iconic California towns. You have your own parking spot, which is nicely located to where you stay. It’s so quiet and peaceful here, we felt super relaxed. It was always nice to come back here and reset. The check in process was seamless. We felt like it was our home, we were never bothered at all. It was such a great location to live at. Everyone was so nice too! If you’re thinking of booking this place, question it no further, just book it! You will be very happy with it!

Perfect location and great set up

We are from the area and went home for the holidays. We just needed a central place for sleeping. We had a hard time finding the unit (google maps didn’t bring us to exact location) but was able to call and text and got through right away. The location is right off freeway so we we’re able to get to Camarillo, westlake, Simi Valley and TO to various family homes no problem. Also took a nice walk to the lakes in TO. Bed was large and comfortable. The place was spotless (they clearly use a deep clean service) and was quiet. Def hope to stay here again. Thank you!

Our month is Westlake Village

The apartment is conveniently located in Westlake Village and suited our needs for a month's stay in the area. The apartment is well appointed and comfortable. Located in a building that is not visible from the entrance to the property, we spent quite some time locating it. A little more information in the check-in information would be helpful. Joey, the host was very responsive to our queries and promptly resolved an issue with the air-conditioner.

Cute condo, great location

Overall our experience was good at this cute condo. However, I appreciate long reviews that tell all the things, so here I go. We chose this for the proximity to my in-laws in Thousand Oaks and some of the amenities, as well as contactless check-in. When we arrived we didn’t have a unit number and the actual building was a bit tricky to find in the complex. I called a few times and didn’t get a response so I wandered around until I found a door with a key pad and hoped I wasn’t typing the code into the wrong unit. We were lucky. There are 14 steps up from the parking (not 7 like another review) which made it difficult to bring my 90 year old father-in-law to visit each day of our stay. (We “broke him out” of his assisted living for a week, the whole reason for our visit.) The condo is on the small side, but plenty of space for 2 and a short stay. We found it quite dark with minimal natural light due to the way the balcony on the unit above hangs over the patio, we didn’t use it. The bathroom door is super narrow and a walker does not fit through, it’s the same width and the small closet door in the hall. Definitely not for claustrophobic folks as it isn’t even a standard bathroom door width. There was no bodywash. The overall cleanliness was ok, but not stellar. We found some remnants of the past occupants. We had to buy toilet paper on our last night as only one partial roll was on the holder and one under the sink. It was our last night and we were packing so my husband ran to the gas station since it was later and we didn’t want to ask someone to come to the unit. The bed was ok, the topper isn’t the same size as the actual mattress so it was a bit smaller and the pillows are quite stiff and not soft which is rough for stomach sleepers. We ended up buying our own pillows because after 2 nights we had some neck pain and weren’t able to get good sleep. The blinds in the bedroom were missing most of the hanging pieces so it was impossible to close them, we just pulled the curtains. All the appliances were great to cook and washer and dryer were handy as well. There is no Tupperware or ziplock bags so cooking and leftovers were tricky. So again, over all, not bad just not as bright as the photos appear to be and not as comfy as other reviews claim. But we all have different opinions and preferences on cleanliness and comfort. And maybe I've just been super spoiled with the tons of other places I’ve stayed at in the past. :)
