Wonderful place for stay in West Hollywood

The location was great for a stay in West Hollywood-near but not in the middle of all activities, making it very quiet. The guest house had everything you needed for a relaxing stay. Sallie was wonderful host.

Sallie’s best is truly the best.

Had a great stay from beginning to end. Our host was amazing and the place had an excellent vibe! Was more than pleased with the indoor and outdoor spaces and the quietness of the neighborhood. Would definitely stay there again.

Another great stay at Sallie's Best

This is my second stay at Sallie's. It's a wonderful location -- snuggled into a back yard in the heart of Hollywood. It's safe and quiet and everything you'll need is there. Sallie is a great host. I'll be back.

Sallie's BEST is aptly named

Sallie's BEST Guesthouse is aptly named. It is a large studio with everything one could want. As an older, single woman traveler, cleanliness and security are critical to me. Sallie's offered a wonderful secure environment in a great location. The apartment looks just like the photos. It's located behind a house and behind a locked gate in a shady yard. The location is wonderful --in the center of everything and very navigable. Sallie was very attentive and helped with any questions. I've stayed at a lot of VRBOs, and Sallie's is BEST.

A fantastic little place to stay at, central to most things in Hollywood, great atmosphere and cozy.

Everything about this place was perfect for my stay there with 2 roommates. Kitchen, laundry, spacious room, privacy, it was everything we needed and hoped for. Sallie has been such a great host, attending to our needs and always pleasant to be around.

Great stay!

Sallie's place was everything we could have asked for and more. The property itself is well-maintained and tastefully decorated, and the kitchen is fully stocked as well, which I appreciated. We greatly enjoyed using the outdoor fire pit as well. Overall, I would definitely consider staying at Sallie's again.

Excellent rental

Perfect location for vacationing/sight seeing the Hollywood / LA area. Would absolutely stay here again and even amend my travel plans to match availability. Sallie is great. Truly enjoyed our stay. The guest house is complete with everything you can possibly need. Very clean and spacious.

Our stay at Sallie's BEST Guesthouse

We enjoyed our stay. Sallie was there when we arrived, and she was very personable. A few of the lights and fans were not working properly, and Sallie quickly addressed the problem. She was also quick to respond whenever I texted her. The guesthouse is a nice size and very quiet. It was hot in LA when we were there, and the A/C in the guesthouse worked great. The extra bedroom provided ample space to hang up all our clothes, as well as lots of hangers. There is a large size TV, and a large kitchen. The bathroom has good lighting for putting on makeup, and there is a wide shelf on the tub/shower where we could put all our toiletries and hair products.

THE place to stay in LA!

I just returned from a four day stay at Sallie’s best. The description and reviews were excellent, but I really think there should be more stars available!! The property itself is awesome. If you are looking for Hollywood glitz and posh accommodations, this is maybe not the best choice. If you are looking for a very cool / bohemian chic / convenient home base - you absolutely will not find a better location. Beds were extremely comfortable. The kitchen is perfect if you plan on making a few meals. The home itself is just wonderful. We rented a car and had absolutely no problem parking within steps of the home every day. The neighborhood is very cool and safe and incredibly convenient to all of the major shopping and tourist destinations. Above all, communication with Sallie was exceptional. Our stay was wonderful, I just wish we could have stayed there longer. Book your stay - you will be very pleased that you did!!

Perfect Hollywood Bungalow!

Stayed here with my daughter and her friend and couldn't ask for better! Walking distance to great restaurants, Hollywood Blvd., Melrose Ave., and a short ride to Beverly Hills, Venice and Santa Monica beaches. Sallie was wonderful and full of information about the locale and things to do. The guest house itself was perfect for the three of us and had all the amenities one could wish for. I loved the courtyard and the quiet, convenient location. We are already planning our return!

A Delight

We loved everything about Sallie's place. It's in a beautiful quiet neighborhood right in the heart of Hollywood, with a gorgeous courtyard and a gas fire pit. The place is spacious and comfortable, and Sallie was a delight as a host. I've stayed in a lot of vacation rental houses in L.A. and this is by far my favorite.

Staying at Sallie's was such a great decision. Great, safe location that was central to all of the major attractions we wanted to see. I was with my two girlfriends, and we all had our own bed which was nice. We also loved the charming decorations and french press coffee every morning. This a VRBO that I can say I would definitely look forward to staying in again.

Cozy oasis for our family

We had a lovely stay at Sallie's BEST Guesthouse. Our family of 4 enjoyed our visit and stay while touring around LA. The house was very comfortable and well equipped. We especially enjoyed sitting in the back garden for breakfast and around the fire pit at night toasting s'mores. The house and neighborhood are so peaceful. We walked to area restaurants and lots to see just a walk or short Uber away. We would definitely stay again.

Comfortable Spot in a GREAT Location!

My wife & I thoroughly enjoyed Sallie's hospitality during a recent 4 night stay. This is a very comfortable spot in a great location!! Plenty to do within walking distance and good proximity to all of Northern LA. We had no problem finding street parking right out front. The neighborhood is very safe & quiet. If ever we return to West Hollywood, we would love to stay here again.

Amazing Yard, Comfortable Space, Unbeatable Location

Can't recommend Sallie's place highly enough. The location is central to just about anything you'd want to do in LA; the shady outdoor space feels like a peaceful jungle with funky decor (and a firepit); and the Guesthouse itself is comfortable, spacious, and very well-appointed. Sallie herself is available to assist in any way she can and is a lovely host. All in all, a fantastic experience.
