Rooftop views were nice, comfy beds and nice TVs, i had some bad luck with nearbye construction but overall nice stay. :)

Everything was clean and neat, I suggest a few more kitchen towels and wash cloths. Maybe a sink stopper. The gate door knob doesn’t seem to work. We bought a bbq as the one there had severe mold and the cover was rotted out. I will definitely recommend this unit to my friends, when we needed help you were always quick to respond, even though it was bad timing when we need to talk, ie boarding the plane etc. also I developed a chest cold and lost my voice. Great location and I was surprised you didn’t require more clean up on our part. Thank you very much.

I really hate writing a 2 star review, but with the exception of our last evening at this property, we had zero hot/warm water. Of course this also happened during a cold, November rainy spell to make things worse. On top of that, the roof leaked onto the third floor during our stay. The property management team was responsive to the issues, however we had workers at the property a good portion of our stay and it wasn't fixed until the late afternoon before our departure (3 days from when the issue was reported). The location is good and the rooftop was a great amenity. It's just a bummer that we weren't in the property management team's best interest. We felt like they really didn't care that this was happening.

The location is PERFECT, just a couple of blocks from the beach/pier and shops/restaurants! It was clean and well maintained. They supplied beach towels and chairs which was also nice! I appreciated the conveniences of not having to rush out and buy TP/Paper towels. Important to know it is listed as sleeps 8, but really it only comfortably sleeps 5 to 6. The two twins -- one is a trundle on the floor, which is not ideal. The sofa is not a sofa bed. They offer an air mattress, but there's no great floor space for whoever needs to use that. The hot tub and roof deck were awesome, but we spoke with the property managers about having more detailed info about how to use the hot tub. That wasn't obvious and created some delays/barriers in use. They were responsive to that feedback and are working on that for future guests. Be aware the parking is very tight and likely for compact cars only. Our minivan did not fit. There was no free parking readily available - we had to pay meters and move the car frequently, which was an unexpected added expense. I may also recommend that they appoint the kitchen a bit better. There were 6 of everything (6 plates, bowls, etc.), which was just enough if you have 6 people, but more than that it wouldn't be enough and also means you are doing dishes after each meal or relying on paper products too much.

Great space, loved the roof top deck and the proximity to the beach and shopping! Bedrooms were comfortable. We would stay again for sure.

Great property

The house was perfect for our group of friends. Plenty of space for everyone to hang out and relax. We loved the roof top deck and jacuzzi. Beds were all comfortable and everything was well stocked.

Beautiful stay at Hermosa beach!

We loved staying at Hermosa beach. The home was inviting and clean. My kids especially liked the “good vibes” there. While staying close to the pier and local businesses can be noisy sometimes, we slept like babies in the cozy rooms with nice linens and decor. It’s almost impossible to keep the sand outdoors, but with the outdoor shower on site we found that super helpful. Of all the roofs in Hermosa beach we had the best view of sunsets while lounging in the hot tub. Our mini van didn’t fit in the garage parking spot. That was a bummer. We backed in as close as we could without running into the wall. I’m sure if we had a smaller car it would have shut. Over all it was a great stay.

Family Reunion

We enjoyed three nights at this VRBO…we had plenty of space and rooms to sleep and get ready for our next adventure. The rooftop area was such a bonus. We had coffee up there every morning and last night we all sat in the hot tub and recapped our weekend. It was a wonderful space and we took great pictures with the sunset and Pacific Ocean in background. I will be using this VRBO again for future family get togethers. The location is perfect for daily activities and plans for dinners at night. One thing-parking was difficult. Out truck wouldn’t fit in the tiny garage. We had to park a mile away and put money in the meters. Other than that—best Vacation in a long time Thank you Orange Door for great memories That my family and I will have forever.

it wasn't fair

1.Washer locked w/ dirty clothes and dryer had someone's underwear. Nasty! 2. The cleaning crew was late cleaning and we waited more than to 45min after the checking time. We felt robbed of our time and vacation! We contacted the host and Check-out time still remained the same! Simply Not Fair! 3. Too much bleach used on towels and bedding. Couldn't sleep well! Moved to the room and the noise of the hot tub on top roof is loud at night, even on SLP mode. 4. Trash on the floor (e.i.used flosser picks, hair strings on the kitchen cabinets, and towels). Second Nasty, cleaning the place needs improvement! 5. Grill was greased and not clean at all. Didn't BBQ as planed we change our plans. 6. TOO MUCH chlorine on the hot tub (we all get a skin reaction after first use, and kids couldn't sleep cause of the skin's irritation). Careful on this one, may ruin your long stay! 7. Left the place an hour earlier than the check-out time. As parents we just wanted to give some vacation days to our kids, but they turned out to be not what we expected, for the money spent we rather pay for a hotel chain next time.
