Fantastic space close to Malibu Beaches

Loved every aspect of the guest villa. Very comfortable and clean. Richard greeted us and made us feel very welcome. Every detail is taken care if and Richard is very reponsive to notifications thruough the app. We would welcome the opportunity to stay again if ever in the LA area.

Perfection in Malibu Canyon

Clean, spacious and well equipped, perfect for two. Just 30 mins to the beach and 10 mins to Malibu Creek State Park. Great Mexican Cafe and liquor store just blocks away. A short hike just behind the house will take you to a beautiful spot to watch either sunrise or sunset. Spectacular! Richard is a top-notch host, super friendly, helpful and very knowledgeable of great things to do in the area. He is always happy to chat but also very respectful of your privacy. You can't ask for a better host!

Nice neighborhood!

I had a lovely stay at this property. The host was helpful and familiar with the area. The check-in and out process was easy. I also enjoyed the trails that were close by for my daily walks in the am. Overall, I would recommend this place to anyone whether be vacation or just for a short get away.

California visit

We had a lovely stay at the property. We did think access to trails would be closer to the property, but it was fine because we were close enough to everything else. It would be nice if there was a table and chairs on the patio, but our stay was focused around visiting with family so this did not impede the visit. Richard made everything very easy for us and the accommodations were very nice. Would recommend this property to others.

Richard’s home was clean and comfortable and was everything I needed. I thought there would be a place to sit outside to look at the mountains, but as it turned out, I was gone from 9 am till at least 8 pm, so there was no need. The house lived up to my expectations. The bed was comfortable. Richard was very good at giving me ideas of where to go in Malibu.

Nice place, right size and location. One suggestion: provide a card with instructions for the TV. The Roku user interface is unlike anything else we’ve had. We’re used to DirecTV. It took a while to figure out how to access the Spectrum TV channels, and the lack of random access is annoying.

Great stay and great location

My husband and I really enjoyed our stay. Loved staying outside of LA in the Malibu Canyon area with lots of nature around us. The property was nice and the host was great and very helpful. We would love to go back.

Great location, great host, I’m coming back!

This little apartment is in a perfect location with mountains and ocean both a short drive away. Very clean, very safe. Owner on site for check-in, orientation, or if you need anything. Well-appointed, everything I needed for my 4-day stay. Great TV (2 actually). High quality linens. Good bed( brand new actually - it was delivered the day I arrived). I will stay here again when I am in the area. Thanks!

Beautiful neighborhood and place

While we were in California to visit our daughters, my husband and I picked Richard’s place to stay. Richard was an excellent host. He met us as we checked in and explained everything we needed to know about the studio. Actually, it was the easiest check-in we’ve had using VRBO. There was excellent communication when we had questions. The place was in a beautiful neighborhood and with updated appliances. It had a place for our dog to go outside that was a fenced in area. I would highly recommend this gem to anyone planning a trip to California.

Comfortable and quiet - nice location!

We enjoyed the location and hospitality of host Richard. He gave us a thorough run down of the suite as well as the area. It was spotlessly clean and well organized. The bed was comfortable and the living/dining area was spacious. The neighborhood was quiet and residential with hiking areas as well as a park and dining a short walk away. A great place to stay and we will be back if we plan another trip in the area.

comfortable stay

We visit the area twice a year from NJ to visit our son's family. It is always great when we can find a great place to stay since we can't stay with them. Richard's place fit our needs exactly. Everything we needed was provided and he checked in with us regularly to see if everything was okay with the stay. The kitchen and living area provided plenty of space to relax. We'll certainly consider returning on our next trip to CA.

Interesting area-Calabasas

We enjoyed the hills and downhill run to Malibu. Richard is attentive. Thanks to him for allowing a weekend with our nephew who lives far away from our home. Everything essential was available but we sure appreciated the washer and dryer. A few loads and we were prepped for our cross country trek home. It is obvious why Richard is a premier host.
