Set high in Hollywood Hills West, on one of those winding streets where the city suddenly opens up beneath you, Hollywood Overlook is the "house on the hill" people picture when they imagine an LA escape. Walls of glass pull the skyline straight into the living room, and the line between inside and out all but disappears — step through and the patio takes over, with a private pool and hot tub, sun loungers, and an al fresco table set against a wide-open view of the city below. As the light drops, the firepit lounge becomes the place everyone drifts toward.

Inside, the main level is open and easy. A chic living room flows into a dining area for eight and a chef's kitchen with barstools pulled up to the island — the kind of layout where whoever's cooking is still part of the conversation. Upstairs, a second lounge with a plush sofa and an oversized TV makes a natural hideaway for a movie night, and its own terrace serves up another angle on the view.

The primary suite leans fully into the getaway: a king bed, a private balcony, and a spa-style bath with marble counters, a generous shower, and a soaking tub made for a long unwind. A second king bedroom with its own ensuite and a queen guest room round things out, with room for eight in all and comfortable, private corners for everyone.

Location is the quiet luxury here. You're tucked into the hills but only minutes down the slope from the Sunset Strip, with West Hollywood's restaurants, nightlife, and a well-stocked Erewhon close at hand. Runyon Canyon's trails and skyline overlooks are a quick drive away, and Mulholland Drive's scenic pull-offs sit minutes up the hill. Drop down into Hollywood proper for the Walk of Fame and the TCL Chinese Theatre, catch a summer show at the Hollywood Bowl, or point the car over the hill to Universal Studios and Studio City. Griffith Observatory and its postcard views of the sign are a drive east. Wherever you're headed, the home sits right in the middle of it — then hands you a private pool and a sunset to come back to.

- Please note that this home is located in the Hollywood Hills, where hillside properties may occasionally see ants during the warmer summer months, especially if food is left out. To help minimize this, please keep food sealed, avoid leaving crumbs or open food on counters, and dispose of trash promptly.
- Please note our occupancy includes an additional two beyond bed count. Trifold floor mattresses and additional linens can be provided upon request.
- Unfortunately, pets are not allowed in this home. If undisclosed pets are brought into the home without AvantStay's approval, there is a fine of $500 per pet.
- Guests must be 25 years or older to book this home.
- Both indoor fireplaces are unavailable for guest use.
- The home features new cabinets and a rebuilt pool system.
- There is scaffolding on the side facing the city. There is work being done on the balcony.

This is a smoke-free property. Violation of the no-smoking policy will result in forfeiture of the security deposit, a $300 smoking fee, and liability for any fire or property damage costs.

As part of our commitment to being good neighbors, occupancy limits and quiet hours (9pm-8am) are strictly enforced. No speakers or sound systems will be provided for use in our properties. Violation of any noise ordinances will be subject to fines that can reach up to $10,000 per violation.

Events or parties are not allowed without prior written approval and an additional fee. Any unauthorized parties or events will be shut down and a fine will be assessed. Please inquire for more information about our event policies and fees.

There is nothing more important to us at AvantStay than the health, safety, and experience of our guests & staff. We've enhanced our cleaning and sanitation protocols and are taking extra care to disinfect all surfaces between reservations with hospital-grade disinfecting solutions.

As a reminder, we do work with 3rd party vendors to maintain the property, and although we adhere to the strictest CDC guidelines and advise all contractors to wear PPE equipment, we can not always enforce. We strongly advise guests to please deny access if any vendors fail to meet and adhere to these standards.
