The house is great -- spacious well-stocked kitchen with a dining table large enough to seat our group of six. The layout of the bedrooms was great as everyone had privacy and close access to a bathroom. Between the living room and the loft area, there was plenty of comfortable seating for reading or watching a movie. The deck had a great view and furniture - plenty of room for outside dining. It was also nice that there was off-street parking space large enough to accommodate our three vehicles. The only disappointment was the lack of access to the river. Although it looked great in the photos, the high water level due to the runoff eliminated that access entirely. For us that was a real letdown since that was the primary reason we selected this property. By the end of June, the water level will likely be lower and fishing from the property will be possible.

Charming Oceanside Stay

Beautiful ocean view and within easy walking distance to pier, shops and restaurants. Would suggest adding a few more lamps and hooks for personal belongings inside the house. Having a parking spot was a huge plus. Additionally, we were able to easily access the metro link to get to Sofi Stadium.

Daughters & Mother Getaway

Great 4th of July stay !

We enjoyed everything about our stay . The location was perfect. We rented bicycles and rode to the Hermosa pier daily . The view from the living room and the sounds of waves at night were exactly what we were looking for. Perfect for our family of four.

Family fun!

This property was perfect for a family! The home itself was comfortable and had everything we needed. The neighborhood and walking distance to great night life and restaurants was amazing. The beach was amazing and so nice to be right on the beach but far enough that you didn’t have walkers peaking in your windows. Highly recommend!

Heaven on the Strand

This was such an incredible location! My daughter played in a huge beach volleyball tournament and we could just walk to the courts/pier. We had plenty of space for our group and having the washer and dryer was so great! Communication was easy and responsive with the owner and we would definitely stay here again!

Charming, centrally located apartment made us feel like locals!

I booked this charming apartment for my best friend's bachelorette weekend. We absolutely loved the location and the space itself. It was clean, SO easy to walk into town, and literally steps from the Strand. We started each morning with the sunrise overlooking the water, and made sure to take advantage of how close it was to downtown. The amenities within the apartment were fantastic as well -- the beds were very comfortable, the kitchen was stocked with plenty of items to cook and host happy hours. And the VIEWS. Good lord, nothing beats that fresh ocean breeze and the gentle roar of the ocean as you fall asleep and wake up each day. 12/10 stay. Would love to return!

Beautiful beach cottage with ocean views!

We had an amazing stay at this lovely home just steps from The Strand in Manhattan Beach. The location is fantastic as you can walk out the door and be on the beach as well as just walk up the street to shops and restaurants. Beds were great as well as shower pressure. The host was super responsive and went out of her way to make sure we had everything we needed!

Great location in MB!

Very clean, well kept property in convenient walking location to everything MB offers. Garage was bigger than we expected after reading the description and was very useful. Kitchen fully stocked with all the necessary appliances and tools. The bathroom could use a bit of an upgrade. Host was responsive. Overall great and would rent again.
