Perfect Getaway

Our accommodations were excellent. Every necessity and comfort were provided for us to have a relaxing week in Loreto. Peter and Ron greeted us upon arrival and shared relevant information on our accommodation and things to do and favorite restaurants in Loreto. Our location was right near the walkway along the Sea of Cortez. We walked it numerous times as it always intrigued us to watch the pelicans diving for fish. Dining options were abundant and delicious. We ate out for most meals but the kitchen had every item a chef would need to prepare meals. We were a little early in the season to enjoy the pool but it looked very inviting. In summary I’d say it was an A+ experience.

This is a wonderful place to stay when you want to get away to a small location and have privacy.It is one home away from the south point of the Malecon where you can take your walks along the waterfront. The length of the Malecon is approximately 3/4 miles long and it does have access to the plaza area however there are more direct ways to walk to the plaza.The area is very close to get to many attractions, stores, restaurants and other commercial businesses. A car is not necessary, however there is a National Car Rental across the street from this guest house for those guests that want to see beyond the local area. Our car rental was approximately 75 US plus fuel for a one day rental. It is an upstairs unit (very spacious) with a separate entrance. Peter and Ron live downstairs with a totally different entrance. They are accessible if needed however they will not intrude on your time there. The guest house consists of 4 basic and spacious rooms. A large, complete kitchen with refrigerator, dishwasher, range and all the accessories needed for meal preparation. Outside, we used the BBQ for 4 different dinners during our stay.The air conditioners were very efficient in cooling down the guest house when we would arrive back from a busy day.The pool is private and it is all for the guest to use at their leisure. It is out the back patio and then downstairs. Also downstairs is a laundry room and toilet for guests to use as needed.Highly recommend this location in Loreto.

Outstanding Accommodation at a Perfect Location

Peter and Ron’s Loreto rental was very comfortable, clean and conveniently located, just steps from the south end of the malecon. The private pool was a terrific asset to have, since the beginning of our stay was quite hot for us and it offered a welcome respite after a morning of strolling and shopping the malecon and nearby plaza, and the second floor shaded terrace provided a fantastic hangout to enjoy the afternoon breeze. I can honestly say that they were the most hospitable and accommodating hosts that I’ve experienced with any short term rental, and their recommendations for activities, sights, experiences, and restaurants made for a fulfilling first visit to a charming town. The amenities offered were a welcome bonus - the on demand bottled water faucet at the kitchen sink and additional jug provided plentiful and convenient access to worry free drinking water, numerous towels provided were more than adequate, the huge bed was amazingly comfortable, and the kitchen was probably the best equipped that I’ve seen in a rental, and included a large outdoor gas grill. If we weren’t new to Loreto and excited to try what the restaurants in town had to offer, I would have felt as comfortable as cooking in my own kitchen, with plenty of pots, pans, utensils, and even numerous spices and staples. Great hosts!

This is an upstairs apartment located above the hosts living area and is very nice and well stocked. We could use their bicycles and kayaks as part of the rental. We especially appreciated the bottled water system plumbed into the kitchen! We really also really appreciated the friendly host who picked us up from the bus station and gave us a quick tour of town and even gave us a ride to the airport when we left, incredible! We were a bit disappointed with the noise level from the nightly "Cruising the Malecon" with loud engines and music - just bring your ear plugs to enjoy this location. We did not take advantage of the nice private pool as it is located on the bottom floor outside the host windows, so we didn't feel comfortable using it, however, we really enjoyed the upstairs deck with lots of seating/lounging. Overall, a great location and accommodations.

My new happy place

Wanted a place to stay for a week for r&r and Milagro perfectly fit the bill. The apartment is upstairs accessible by private outside stairs. It is clean, beautiful with nifty Day of the Dead touches. Extremely comfortable chairs, sofa and bed. You can be sure I will visit again next time I am in Loreto. Easy walking distance to everything. Peter and Ron made me some amazing food - including the best caesar salad I ever had, juicy tomahawk pork chop and rellenos on 3 different nights. Very reasonably oriced, too.

Fantastic apartment

Stayed for a few days in this lovely, private apartment hosted by Peter and Ron. It’s in a perfect location at the end of the Malecon. I walked every where…along the beach, to restaurants, shops and the plazas. I will definitely be going back. Added perk is a ride to the airport! Thank you Peter and Ron!

All you need in Loreto

Outstanding location at the south end of the Malecon offers immediate access to a great stroll up the Sea of Cortez shore. The Marina, at the north end, is a mere 15 minute walk. Along the way are a variety of cafe's, restaurants and just a few hotels. Also, easy access to the central square, shops, more restaurants, grocery and a craft brewery within 5-10 minutes of the Malecon. Rooms in the home are generous size, kitchen, dining, living, bath and bedroom. A king size bed with super comfy topper! High efficiency mini-split A/C and heat in both living and bedrooms for temperature control. Kitchen is nicely complete for cooking and eating in with dishes for guests and a full service spice rack. Generous deck, with table for six and other deck furniture for lounging, overlooks the seasonal pool. The beach, for launching a couple of available kayaks which are transportable on roller wheels, is a mere 40 yards away for easy access. A couple of bikes are also available. The VRBO unit is upstairs above where the on site hosts live. Peter and Ron are outstanding hosts and take great care insuring the privacy of their guests!! They've lived in the community lots of years and are a wealth of knowledge for local recommendations.

Perfect

The guest house is in a prime location for those who want to explore the lovely town of Loreto on foot as well as be near the water. Peter and Ron are incredibly gracious, welcoming, and accommodating, and we could not have asked for a better lodging experience. The guest house is spotless, beautifully decorated, and stocked with anything you might need. We are already planning our return trip!

Our stay at Milagro Guest House was all we had hoped for. The apartment is clean, comfortable and well-equipped with lots of outdoor seating. Peter and Ron are wonderful hosts - they’ve lived in Loreto for many years and are a wealth of information. We wish that we had stayed longer!

Fabulous relaxing stay

We had a great time in Loreto. The accommodations couldn't have been any better.......gorgeous view from the large patio. We walked all around the town from the house and it was so convenient. Peter and Ron were the best and most attentive hosts we ever encountered. Overall, an awesome stay! Highly recommend.

In the heart of Loreto

We had a great time in Loreto despite some weather issues. We went with the intention of getting some scuba diving, but the weather didn’t cooperate. That being said, we did dive with the sea lions one day and it was fabulous. Our apartment was right off the Malecon and we walked all over the town. There was something happening almost every day and we met so many nice and friendly people. We had use of bikes and kayaks and we enjoyed both of those. Peter was available and so helpful during the week. I would highly recommend staying at the Milagro guest house.

Our get away

The apartment is located in a good area within walking distance to restaurants, the beach, grocery stores and shopping. The place is decorated really nice and has everything you need. Peter, our host, was wonderful! He was always available to answer our questions and help us with whatever we needed.

I 'd amp it up with 6 stars if I could

Our stay at the Milagro Guest house met and then surpassed our expectations. Let's start with the location. It's a 30 second walk to the south end of the Malecon and about a 1 minute walk to the beach and the beach bar/restaurant at the Oasis Hotel. Happy hour starts at 4pm. You can walk to many excellent restaurants, that have really good food, and are laid back and not fancy. The tourist part of the town in the Centro is about a 10 minute walk. The apartment had everything we needed. A fully stocked kitchen with everything you need including every spice ever discovered on the planet. We ate out some days and others we would buy groceries and cook. It's a nice option to have.The bed was comfortable with a 3 inch soft foam topper to add comfort. Peter and Ron are the consummate hosts. As a perk ,they will shop for groceries for you before you arrive and if they don't have any previous appointments ,will gladly drive you to the airport when you are leaving. They are well organized with a PDF and written guide to the town and things to do .They are always available for questions and to assist you in any way to make your stay as good and relaxed as possible.

Perfect

Just finished a 4-week stay at Milagro Guest House. Cannot say enough good about it—all aspects. Peter and Ron are great hosts, quick to respond if needed, and are knowledgeable and very helpful about how to spend your time in Loreto and surrounding Baja. The guesthouse itself is comfortable, nicely furnished, has great outside space and has an amazingly well-stocked kitchen. The location….ah, the location. Absolutely perfect. Water, birds, beach access and the Malecon are all right there. It was all wonderful; thank you both very much.

Great Location and Awesome Hosts!

We arrived in Loreto and were greeted by Peter and Ron, shown through the property and given a few tips on what to consider doing during our stay. Their suggestions were bang on as we thoroughly enjoyed the restaurant and excursion suggestions they made. The unit was clean, well equipped and very comfortable. The 3 outside deck areas gave us a great choice of sun and shade at different times of the day. Peter and Ron were very available, extremely pleasant and accommodating. We would highly recommend staying at their guest house while enjoying Loreto!

Awesome hosts!

Ron and Peter are the best. They Made special efforts to make us feel at home and their rental is top notch! The location is perfect - right on the south end of the Malecon where a great sand beach begins. It was a little cold for us to enjoy the sparkling pool and the kayaks, but we had a great time tooling around town on the bicycles. The outdoor deck area is very large and comfortable with couch, lounge chairs, propane barbecue and dining table. It was great to sit out there and look at the ocean on one end and the mountains on the other. The kitchen is well stocked and the appliances are very nice. The property is very secure - even though Loreto is very safe, it is nice to feel secure. The bed with a memory foam topper will pull you in for a deep, restful sleep.

Stellar place. Great hosts

If you have discovered this property, you are fortunate indeed. The apartment itself is roomy and has everything a person might need, and then more. There are two outdoor areas to hang out to either chase or stay out of the sun, depending upon the time of year and one’s desire. There is a sweet little pool with a wonderful fountain that creates a great sound for back deck living. Ocean view is wonderful from the back deck and all around. there are palm trees and spaciousness. The hosts were incredibly responsive to our needs and initiated emails advising on venders use, places to go and what not to miss. They made it very easy for our first time in Loreto and our desire to explore Loreto in just a week. One of our most favorite things was that we had bikes for our use and we used them every day and went all over and were able to see so much, go grocery shopping etc. Overall we had a really great time and we will return to Milago Guest House again. Thank you Peter and Ron.

Prime location with lots of space.

Great location. Feels like home. Peter and Ron are wonderful, helpful and go the extra mile (you’ll see when you stay). Having two decks to choose from was optimal for sun, wind and shade choices. Private pool and laundry are a nice touch too. Highly recommend it.
