This place has spoiled us. We can't see staying anywhere else in Loreto. We love being in this quiet location, falling asleep to the sound of the ocean waves, and watching the sunrise from the chaise lounges each morning. The casita is super comfortable and has the added benefit of kayaks for your use. There's nothing better than kayaking on a calm morning. And a short walk along the beach and malecon get you to the marina, plaza, etc. in no time. Really, this place is a gem!

Everything was excellent. The casita is cozy and has everything you need -- full kitchen, king-width bed, lap pool, outdoor dining, plenty of outdoor seating, and direct access to the beach. I looked out the window every morning and watched the sun rise. We sat on the beach chairs and stared at the sea, watching the pelicans dive for fish. This place is gorgeous, clean, and located in the sweet spot on the edge of town. We didn't make use of many of the amenities (kayaks, etc.) but everything listed was present and accessible. The host and her associates were incredibly welcoming and responsive. Much like Loreto itself, they were friendly and low-key. If you're like my wife and don't like bugs, you're in luck -- aside from the rare mosquito and frequent butterfly, there weren't any to speak of.The pics truly represent what's here but don't really capture how comfortable it is. We thought it was well worth the cost. Also, during the lead up to our stay, the host was very responsive to business matters and questions about Loreto. I've traveled some and stayed in vacation properties frequently, and this was easily a top-tier experience. Highly recommend.

Everything about this place is marvelous. We’re not kidding. We made a list of all the things we loved about Catalina’s Casita and tried to pick the one we appreciated the most … it was a close call but the Pelican Show immediately following the sunrise won! The experience was so memorable! The cottage is right on the sea, pool was wonderful, the room was clean, and the amenities were perfect! The owner was very responsive and the space was extremely safe.

a jewel right on the deep blue sea!

this beautiful little house is so perfect and so romantic for two. away from town and very private. lovely bed, comfy furniture, great swimming pool. catharine and her onsite caretaker rigo are super kind and responsive. highly recommend ! the view will captivate all day long. we rented a little car from gerardo garcia who was great and that let us bop around town to all our fav restaurants and the grocery so we could cuddle up and watch movies and cook simple dinners. muy romantica.

A chance to recharge.

This was our first experience in Loreto. We talked about it for years and it turned out to be what we expected. A beautiful beach community without the crowds of Cabo. The casita we stayed at was perfect. On the waterfront. Listening to the soft waves hitting the sand. Watching the Pelicans indulge in breakfast.The Casita was great. Detached with a walkway to the courtyard and the ability to just lounge under an umbrella when we wanted to sit poolside instead of the beach. Very easy coming and going without feeling that we are bothering anyone. Our host was extremely quick to respond to any question we would have( which were few). Super quiet and relax full place and location. Walk into town is eazy and had a place to park a car when we decided to explore the area further.

A Magical Place to Stay

We are repeat customers and always find this comfy casita to be a 5-star experience. It's a peaceful location, right on the beach. We love being able to watch the sun rise over the Sea of Cortez, fall asleep to the sound of the waves, and just generally enjoy soaking in the beauty of the place. Highly recommended!

Exceeded expectations

Such a wonderful and relaxing stay at this beautiful casita on the beach! Catharine and Rigo went out of their way to be accommodating and make us feel welcome for our first trip to Loreto.The morning kayaks, lap pool and of course steps to the ocean were a few of the highlights. We also enjoyed the daily walk into town. We look forward to visiting again!

Excellent getaway for a couple

With a lap pool six steps from one door and the Sea of Cortez 12 steps out the other door, this is the perfect place for a couple who enjoy the water. Kayaks and SUPs there for your use, with a local fellow available to pick you up from the beach to take you for a day of snorkeling or fishing. Bikes available to ride the 3/4 mile into town for excellent food, or you can walk there on the beach. A true 10 out of 10 place to stay.

Peaceful spot on the sea.

This was a very comfortable casita steps from the sea. We had our morning swim in the gentle waves watching the sunrise. There was everything we needed and desired and the lap pool was a treat. Kayaking in the gentle waters, biking to town and through the Baja desert and walking up many small streets to find treasures. This spot made for a very relaxing and enjoyable vacation.

Paradise

The home and property were amazing. The weather was warm and beautiful. Waking every morning to beautiful sunrises and just steps to the beach can’t be beat. I admit I was apprehensive about having a daily grounds keeper at the rental, cause we wanted our privacy. Rigo was not intrusive in any way and he was a great asset for answering questions. We plan to return again.

We loved this casita so much last year, we returned for another visit. This is the absolute best location to stay in Loreto. We loved being on the beach, watching the sun rise over Isla del Carmen, kayaking from right in front of the casita, falling asleep to the soothing sound of the waves. The whole experience was amazing!

Stunning sunrises seen from lovely casita
