Muy cómodo

Estuvimos un fin de semana un grupo muy numeroso, con muchos niños y estuvimos muy cómodos. Es muy espaciosa, muy bien equipada.

A family getaway

An exceptionally large villa with plenty of space for large family groups centred around a great pool area, plenty of shade and cooking and eating facilities at poolside.

Le potentiel est là mais...La propreté du logement laisse à désirer. Les salles de bains d'un autre âge sans rideau de douche, avoir de l'eau chaude est une aventure Les travaux de rénovation sont d'une qualité médiocre. Les extérieurs pas mieux.Dommage le rapport qualite/prix n'y est pas.

Stay with Friends

We stayed here with 17 of us and it was the perfect place for a group. The property is well amenitised with lots of bedrooms, towels, kitchen supplies, outdoor space, and so on. The pool is big and we were able to have parties without any complaints. You do have to pay for AC separately however this was very affordable. Overall, a great stay with excellent hosts!

Excellent base for a large party

For our family party of 19, aged between 6 and 78, the cortijo offered multiple room configurations and options, a large kitchen that worked well for catering for this number, and a magnificent pool and pool area that was the centre of activity every day. Add cheap and easy access from the local station to Seville and Cordoba, and activity for all ages was on hand.

Great property, great stay

A group of 22 with a mixture of adults and children stayed at the property. We’ve stayed at many places as a group and this place was great for socialising as a group. plenty of seating everywhere, a great size kitchen and plenty of room if you wanted to be on your own too. We had a slight issue with the air con when we arrived but the owner was great and immediately came round and fixed the issue. The owner was always available if need be on whatsapp for recommendations of where to eat or go if need be. i was very impressed and would stay again without hesitation.

Villa spacieuse idéale grands groupes

Maison très grande et bien équipée idéale pour un groupe de 25/30 personnes: 3 frigos dont un près de la piscine, congélateur, 2 lave-vaisselles et 2 lave-linges et plusieurs fours et tables de cuisson. Beaucoup de serviettes de bain et piscine à disposition ainsi que shampoings et gels douches. L’espace extérieur est très agréable avec le coin piscine/bar/bbq et de grandes tablées ombragées. Grande piscine. Petit bémol, manque de prestation de qualité (salles de bain peu équipées…) et nettoyage assez sommaire. Hôtes très sympathiques et bienveillants.

Spacious property for a large family

Lora Del Rio accommodated all eighteen of us (age five to eighty), providing space for everyone to enjoy themselves, whether at the pool, playing indoor and outdoor games, watch movies, or just sit and read under the trees. We thoroughly enjoyed the barbecues and being able to sit in different locations for meals depending on the time of day. It is conveniently situated between Cordoba and Seville. We also visited Carmona nearby.

A week in paradise

Me and my friends booked this wonderful place, and we had a absolute blast. We had a lovely stay with no problems what so ever. The landslords were very helpful and friendly. I can highly recommend staying here!

Perfect villa for a large group of family or friends

We have just come back from a wonderful week in Cortijo Estacada. We were a large family group of 20 adults. The villa was ideal as there is plenty of space so we didn't get on top of each other. The pool area is wonderful with plenty of sun-beds for everyone and areas of shade for those who want it. There isn't a lot to do in the local area (this wasn't a problem as most of our party didn't want to leave the villa) but Seville and Cordoba are approximately an hour and an hour and half drive away and well worth visiting. Theresa and Roger are on hand if needed.

A lovely week in Lora Del Rio

Our hosts were very helpful and couldn’t do enough for us. The villa is lovely. It has great amenities, a large pool with plenty of garden furniture and shaded areas. We spent many hours playing volley ball and ping pong, the games room is great fun. Outside is a lovely bar area with fridge, BBQ and seating, this was highly enjoyable and convenient. The patio near the villa has a lovely outside table for group evening meals. The kitchen is well equipped, two fridge freezer and dishwashers were handy when catering for a large group. We highly recommend ordering an online shop from Mercadona supermarket for arrival, it was quick and easy. The supermarket itself in town is also highly recommended. Our hosts kindly arranged catering for us at the villa for a very reasonable price. The food was excellent and we would definitely recommend the tapas dishes and paying a very small fee for service and cleaning. Towels and beach towels are provided and the air con charge is very reasonable and the bill at the end was very low. We visited the lovely town of Cordoba and Castillo Almodóvar del Rio, both are accessible by car or train and are definitely worth a visit, especially Game of Thrones fans as they are the filing locations of Volantis and Highgarden. Arrive at the castle before 11 to park at the entrance, there is parking at the bottom of the hill but the walk would be long and steep. The views are spectacular. We visited Seville on the last day, again by car. The Real Alcázar de Sevilla is beautiful and worth a visit, it’s another filming location of game of thrones. The cathedral and Plaza de Espana are stunning. The villa is in a great location to visit all of these beautiful sights. Would definitely return.

A week in August

This is huge Villa with acres of space inside and out The pool area is marvellous and the grounds give lots of space for outdoor games and choices for resting and dining. Inside too has lots of communal space to escape the heat with indoor rest, games, films and so on the Air-conditioning is efficient and reasonable cost in the rooms - kitchen does get very hot Lora del rio provides all you need with the mercadonia supermarket and some good local shops/bars for veg, bread and tapas. Thee is not a great deal to do in the area abut you don't really need tif you are there to take it easy The train to Sevilla is a must and very reasonable and efficient with free stations car park in Lora Parts of the villa internally are a little tired but it is ideal for large family groups as you do not need to be too precious Theresa is an excellent and efficient host

Great vacation at a spacious villa!

We had a great holiday in a spacious villa! Theresa and Roger were very welcoming and accommodating offering some great recommendations and were very responsive to our needs. We were a large group of 20, both adults and (big) kids and found the villa had more than enough space and facilities for all of us. The pool area was splendid offering plenty of space to fool around and shade for those who wanted it. Pretty good location to both Seville and the airport. We would definitely recommend this property to others and all look forward to the next opportunity to visit.

Great holiday with large group of friends

We had a great holiday at Cortijo Estacada which was ideal for our large group of friends with children. The number of facilities available, including a really nice large pool meant that we were never short on things to do. Theresa and Roger were also extremely helpful with any questions we had, including arranging caterers which we would also recommend.

Nous avons fêtez les 40 ans de mon mari entre amis et tout était parfait La maison est très grande avec de la place pour tous La cadre est idéal : terrasse avec de grandes tables pour manger, une grande piscine, terrain pétanque,terrain volley, .... La cuisine est au top avec 3 frigos... La maison n’est qu’à 40km de Séville pour la visite de la ville Merci à Theresa pour son accueil Vous pouvez y aller les yeux fermés Elodie

Great venue for a multi generation get together

There were 19 of us from 4 generations and from two continents for a family get together and the house was great. The pool was our favourite venue, it was warm and clean and being 12 meters long was good for those who wanted to swim rather than just have a dip. There are plenty of sun loungers and lots of shade too around the pool. Teresa was friendly and helpful and when we had a couple of issues with maintenance problems she sorted them out immediately. Our only negative comment is that the house is at least a mile from the road along a really rough track. You definitely need a car as it would not be possible to walk to the local town.
