Amazing Stay

A beautiful, peaceful location, a well-appointed, spacious home ... what more do you need for the perfect getaway? We appreciated the property manager's communications leading up to, and during, the trip. All in all, we wish we'd been able to stay longer.

Beautiful Waterfront!

This house was more spacious and inviting than the pictures showed. The kitchen was well stocked and the host was responsive to any needs we had. The view from the house was amazing. There is even a sauna that we don't remember being advertised! You get your own private beach and are close to some of the best parts of the island (Shark Reef, Iceberg Point, Point Colville, plus everything else on the island is less than 20 min away). The only real complaint was that there wasn't wood provided for the wood stove. This isn't a big deal, but if a stove is advertised, it's sure nice to have at least a little wood provided or to be upfront about needing to bring our own.

WOW... I'm so RELAXED!!!

We just spent the most beautiful weekend at this property. My friend and I wanted to do a girls weekend away, and it was wonderful. The property had everything we needed, and if we needed something else... it wasn't far away. Lopez Island is awesome! Especially if you are looking to work the kinks out of your shoulders and the stress off of your face. It's not a touristy place... pretty rural actually. We brought most of our groceries, etc. with us when we travelled. The ferry was easy, but make sure you make a reservation and buy your tickets on line. The tickets are round trip, so you don't have to pay additional to get back to the mainland. Be advised... cell phones don't work in most places on the island. Good idea to have a map with you when you travel. Your phone nav isn't going to get you where you need to go. Take the trip... enjoy the scenery & most of all... Enjoy the fine hospitality this house bestows on you. It was the best!!!

Lovely and spacious. Great hosts.

Our family really enjoyed our stay. Home is better appointed than most rentals. Master bed was very comfortable. Nothing shabby here! Only suggestion: move breakable dishes from the bakers rack--we bumped the rack and some things got broke. Love this place!!

Beautifully loved home with a million dollar view!

This was a wonderful home to stay at! It was very well kept, clean, comfortable, had everything we needed for our stay. The location can no be beat, right on a private, quite beach. We took our kayaks out and had a baby seal swim along side of us! There were deer, birds, bald eagles, and the fish were even biting with in steps of the from door. The deck provided comfortable seating for our large family to watch the sunset. We would stay at this home again in a heart beat in any season!

Clean and well furnished beach house on quiet Lopez Island

My family and I enjoyed our stay here! The home was so beautifully decorated and so clean! It had everything we needed and then some. Right across the street from a private beach, we enjoyed skipping rocks and playing with driftwood. Thanks for letting us stay at your home!

Little Gem in Lopez!

We had a fantastic couple of days with our 9 year old twins.Ingrid and Peter were very welcoming and gracious. Our kids were super excited have Jazz the 16 year old gentle and loving dog hang around to play with. The view of the water is beautiful from the house .The tulips in the garden made the place look like something out of a picture postcard. The house was very neat and clean . There place was well equipped with pots ,pans and aplliances. All the basic amenities were covered. We were very comfortable. It felt like home away from home . For groceries there is a store about a mile away ,very convinient. We used the sauna at the end of a fun day exporing the island. It felt so good! The island has gentle slopes for most parts so biking is quite a lot of fun. Lots of farms and in general very laid back and a friendly place. We will certainly return. Thanks again Ingrid and Peter for sharing your adorable home with us!

The house is lovely for a relaxing getaway. Right on the beach for lovely misty morning walks. Close to a really great general store that sells locally raised meat and serves food and coffee.

As good as it gets

This home was everything it said it would be. The location is great and we had everything we needed. We cooked a lot and the kitchen was fully stocked with all the appliances and dishes we needed. Beautiful views and the owner made sure we were happy.
