"Beautiful cottage down in the woods by the river. Everything we needed, included a scrumptious cream tea with huge delicious homemade scones to great us on arrival! The beds were super comfy with proper duvets & crisp clean white linen. The kitchen was really well equipped. It felt cold when we arrived but on turning the thermostat up on the stairs it was soon toasty warm! A perfect stay!"

"We have stayed in the property below and that was very nice. However, High Tide is not of a similar standard. Positively, there is a large window in the sitting area with views of the treetops. The downside for us an older couple is access from parking below is via lots of stone steps; not good when carrying luggage, although it is situated right next to the main road to Polperro which does mean it's possible to drop off bags from the roadside.
