"House was very clean and enjoyable to stay in. I’ve stayed here twice and definitely prefer this over any hotel around. House has good WiFi and at one point there was a power outage but the home is equipped with an automatic generator that kicked on immediately so i didn’t have to suffer. John is an awesome host and responds quickly if there are any issues. I definitely look forward to booking again. I definitely recommend this stay for family and friends!"

"This beautiful historical house is located so close to downtown Gladewater we walked to shop and even walked to Skippers pier which was amazing. The attention to all the thoughtful details that made us feel like we were truly staying in an old historical home, made it such an enjoyable stay. The kitchen is a must see and you must cook at least meal. Coffee on the porch made it extra special. We felt safe and I can’t say enough about how wonderful this home is. "Toulouse room has great potential. It needs new carpet(or try cleaning current carpet) and the humidity wrinkled rug under the bed just needs to be removed to remedy the trip hazard it creates. The portable A/C unit worked well for us. Bed was comfortable. Bathroom was mostly clean. It is good sized as is the closet. The bicycles weren’t rideable but owner said parts were ordered to fix them. Just fyi - We have heard from other BnB and VRBO owners that they eventually learned that...
