"Roy was an exceptional host, he was very informative about how to get to the property as the sat nav was a little bit unreliable. He showed us around the hut with all the facilities that were available. The hut had everything u could possible need. It was beautiful and relaxing and I cannot fault it at all. "A lovely stay on the farm overlooking the fields. It's set aside from the rest of the farm and has everything you need for a quiet & cosy weekend getaway.The hot tub was the perfect temperature and the garden furniture, and BBQ meant we could relax late into the evening outside and cook outside. "We really enjoyed our stay, The shepherds hut exceeded our expectations, well equipped, cosy and in a great private location overlooking the forest. The hut was so lovely and warm with central heating and a log burner, the bed was comfortable, and the fixtures and fittings looked brand new. Also the rainfall shower was a lovely surprise. Would recommend and will be back for another visit. Thank you"

"Our experience was perplexing from the start, with directions so inadequate that we had to ask the way. When we arrived I was attacked by geese at large in the grounds. Despite profuse apologies from the owner's wife, and the geese then confined to a wired pen, the owner said he wouldn't be lectured, walking away when I offered some advice on the facilities. "Pink Lady is delightful. On the evening I arrived, I was listening to the owls hooting across the valley. In the morning I could lie in bed and watch the dawn light come over the hill opposite. The hut is great and arrangements all super easy. Fabulously peaceful weekend! "
