Sand Cay Condo atonboat Key

We had a great visit. The condo was roomy, quiet and had everything we needed. The pool and grounds were well kept. The beach was spectacular!

Gulf Post

Perfect size resort. Unit came with everything you’d need. Excellent location on LBK with everything a short drive north or south. Large pool. Onsite ice machine for guests. Shady grass at the edge of the beach when respite needed from all that sun. We loved everything about Sand Cay and our unit.

Beach Vacation

This was my first trip to the Longboat Key area. The condo was right on the beach. The stretch of beach in front of the condos is great and the provided chairs and umbrellas were nice. The area is less touristy than the Anna Maria area, but a short drive to the shops and restaurants. Would definitely stay here again!

Not crowded at all. You definitely need a car or plan to Uber if you want to go anywhere as there are no convenient stores nearby. There is only one restaurant next door. Everything else requires a drive.

Reviewer Comments: This was a girls beach weekend to celebrate our 60th birthdays. #1- great LOCATION in Sarasota & close to lots of great shops, restaurants & Publix. #2-PROPERTY manager was friendly & helpful. We loved the size of the complex & how clean/updated the whole place was. Pool was perfect. People were cleaning & maintaining the grounds the entire time we were there. #3-UNIT #201 was clean & well appointed, offered good water views & very convenient to elevator & stairs to beach & assigned parking. #4- BEACH was great & a very short walk from our unit. Beach chairs everyday, not crowded & turtle nesting was a real treat. Perfect to walk everyday. We LOVED our stay at Sand Cay & would definitely return here without any hesitation. There are many units to choose from & there were several groups that rented out various units and came together.

We had some cold weather I would recommend a few extra blankets somewhere in the unit as the only extra we found were “ quilts or comforter” type back ups. Something small, but unfortunately it would have made our stay a bit more enjoyable. Overall it was exactly as described, we had all necessary items to have meals in the unit and the location was very convenient to most restaurants we enjoyed. The property is very clean and the office staff very personable & customer oriented. We would stay here again.

Girls trip & my kids

A group of us come every year to visit a friend who is local. This was our first time in Longboat. Longboat is an easy an drive to Siesta, St Armand’s Circle. Longboat does not seem to have food delivery services. That was something we didn’t expect. The unit itself was very clean, stocked with 6 beach towels, and some bathroom towels. The extra storage room not pictured was nice to have. We stored our suitcases in there. The unit also had 2 box fans. I love a box fan! There was an umbrella in the closet, we didn’t use it though. I was pretty excited that they had the IKEA beach tent. We’ve had this before and love it. It did have little tears in the top but that didn’t stop it from working and they do tear easily. They also had sun chairs on the beach free to use. Also if you are traveling with kids the office was stocked with games. And near the beach they had baskets full of beach toys. I love that! The grounds of condo were mostly clean. We did see a few cans in the parking lot and most disgustingly 2 used condoms that were there the whole week. There seemed to be ample parking during the week but on weekends there were so many cars. Overall it had everything we needed. If you stay more then a few days you will probably need wash towels, so bring detergent. They had about 6 washes and 6 dryers near the pool. I usually only book places with in unit W/D but we didn’t plan ahead this year and lots of places were already booked. Overall everything was great!

Good Location

Me encanto la propiedad porque esta muy cerca de la playa, a solo pasos. La unidad en la que aloje esta remodelada y linda, al estilo playero, solo le faltan algunos utensilios para cocinar, pero en terminos generales, tiene lo basico. Buenas camas y ropa de cama. Las toallas de playa y de la unidad, limpias. Definitivamente, repetiria.

The room was clean, nicely furnished and had a great view of the Gulf. From the beach to the heated pool, we enjoyed our family time together.
