Beautiful view and excellent beachfront access. The property is gorgeous with breathtaking sunrises and sunsets. The suite was perfect for my husband and me. Great amenities. Communication from vacation rentals was superb. Sept is an awesome time to visit.

This is super cute condo RIGHT on the beach, perfect for a couple. The area is perfect not busy at all! We saw manatees and dolphins while being in the beach it was beautiful!

Island Inn is perfect for a couple! We were delighted with the location -steps away from the beach and an easy drive to great restaurants. The unit is equipped with everything you need for a comfortable stay. We especially enjoyed the balcony table and chairs for morning coffee and evening happy hour.

Well equipped place to stay and directly on the beach!

The property is fantastic if you're looking to stay directly on the beach, and it's very well-equipped for making your own meals. The only downside is that while staying at the Longboat Key Club, you are permitted to use the pool and beach but cannot purchase food or drinks on-site. This was stated in the listing, so it wasn’t a surprise, but I do think there should be a workaround. For example, if you're at the pool and want to order a beverage, you cannot charge it to your room or pay by credit card—you need a member number. This becomes especially problematic since outside food and beverages are not allowed. A great place to stay and I would recommend to a friend.

Destination wedding

I was lucky enough to spend a long weekend at this lovely studio condo! It had everything my sister and i needed for our mini trip for a family wedding. The condo is steps from the pristine beach with beautiful views from the balcony. Looking forward to returning soon!

FVC Condo was very nice and clean, but was really disappointed with the huge wedding tent deal on the beach in front of the condo. Had to listen to construction type noise for two solid days on Thursday and Friday while they installed the floor decking and huge tent. Literally took hundreds of 4 wheeling trips back and forth with beeping noises every time they went in reverse loading and unloading the tent floor decking. Also placed a generator in front of our room that ran for two days solid. Wedding was Saturday night then had to listen to take apart deal on Sunday morning and finishing up today as we were leaving. Had I known about the wedding and tent set up noises, along with partially blocking our view I never would have signed up for this (expensive) condo. It really put a damper on our experience at this resort. I highly recommend verifying there’s no wedding or special event going on in that area of the beach before you pay for this condo. FVC response to my disappointment with this booking was minimal at best. Lesson learned to try to think of every negative scenario that can happen with a booking… Tom Byrne

Beachfront but Dated

Loved the spacious beachfront balcony for breakfast or afternoon relaxing. This high-tech unit is part of the Longboat Key Resort, which is a big plus. Furnishings and beige and brown colors were quality for their time but dated; brown carpet somewhat matted; the unit seemed dim. Good quality towels but dated bed covers. Stiff mattress. Prefer colors and furnishings with a coastal vibe.

Not as expected

Property was not as expected. First, know that this is a studio property…. It is described as a beach front club suite. We didn’t catch this and that is on us but you need to know this is a studio, one room rental. Pictures also show a pool that is not available to renters because it is for club members only. Other amenities are also not available to renters. Second, on arrival we learned we had to drive about 10-15 minutes to pick up the keys for the property. Not convenient and adding driving time to pick up and return keys is a pure waste of time. Finally the property had a very bad odor when we entered it. We bought air freshener and advised the property management company. They said someone painted furniture but it was not paint small, it was a foul, stale smell. Two days later, without any notice to us, 3 HVAC techs showed up to work on the air unit. They spent 45 minutes in the property and were pleasant but I have to say that I was surprised we were not informed. Had we not been there, would they have just come in to all of our personal belongings? Didn’t feel right and we shared this with he management company but got no response. Overall a beautiful area but you can find better properties and service.

Longboat long weekend

Excellent location and the unit was very well appointed. Steps to the beautiful and peaceful beach and only a short drive to all the shops and restaurants at St Armand’s Circle. The more time we spent here, the more we know we’ll be back soon! Thanks you Sue and Dallas for all the great info about the area.

Just right for a couple

We enjoyed our stay. This property had everything we needed for a relaxing vacation. Anything you could possibly need in the kitchen was there. The bathroom was fantastic, the bed comfortable and the view amazing. Access to the beach was quick and easy.

Property was in a great location.

Good overall experience. A little disappointed we could not use amenities associated with property. That being said, I knew this up front. What I didn't know was that we would not be permitted to bring our own beverages to the pool and beach. Need to resolve this ie, either give guest the ability to purchase beverages or allow guest to bring their own to pool and beach area.

2 great weeks in Longboat Key

The location of our resort and also of our individual unit was wonderful. Our unit was well maintained and also well equipped for our stay. The pool area and the beach area were also great with the people working there being very friendly and helpful

Very Nice Vacation

We enjoyed our stay on Long Boat Key. The large Studio was perfect for 2 people. The Condo was quiet and welcoming. The patio was great, the beach was beautiful!

Perfect! The only problem was the TV that was impossible to use and we are pretty techy…

We loved our place except for the TV. Perfect for 2 people, magnificent views of palms, beach, water and sunsets- what more could we want?! Also the best location anyone could have on Longboat! All the staff that we would see would greet us and seemed to be happy to have us there! I believe the restaurants, etc. would do very well accepting renters for their businesses but we never had a problem finding great places to eat for sure . Their loss!!! We truly enjoyed every minute of our stay..thank you…. Roberta Prigozen

Relax in comfort.

Beautiful private beach next to inlet and flocks of birds. The rental does NOT include access to club golf, tennis, resteraunts but does co.e with 2 recliners (worth $30/day) on the beach with staff that will bring you towels for the recliner, head and feet. Umbrellas are an extra $15/day. The water is clear al.ost no waves. (We did start our visit during a red tide with some smell and a couple dead fush) Otherwise the white sand was great with a tractor fluffing up at least once a week. There are small shells to collect. The pool and hot tub were also great with the same staff providing towels. Minor issues we had sugar ants in the room, we are responsible fir taking care of garbage but dumpster at another building. The place is very well furnished and neighbors were few. On Saturday evening and Sunday night weddings were seen from balcony. The later one ended at 11:00 pm. Location to other activities is good.
