Nice getaway

Beautiful, well equipped apartment which has everything you need. Wendy and Jack were very accommodating and any problems were dealt with immediately. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and so did our daughter and her small children.

Beautiful beachfront condo

The condo was clean and spacious. We enjoyed how close it was to the beach. With only 6 units in the complex, it was quiet. We enjoyed the pool. The condo owners responded quickly to our questions. We will stay here again.

Best place on Longboat!

The property is beautifully decorated and has anything you could possibly need. Great location across from Durante park for walking. Gorgeous view of the gulf and can see dolphins from balcony. Beach is right off the boardwalk and wonderful. Had the place pretty much to ourselves, not crowded. There is a public beach access on either side but not too crowded and we were there spring break. Owners great to work with! Love love love it there!!

Another amazing respite

We have booked this condo at Sea Twig for 2024 and 2025. We enjoy the proximity to the beach, St. Armand’s, Sarasota and Anna Maria. Jack and Wendy are perfect hosts and provide timely responses to any issue.

Excellent stay for the 2nd year in a row!

Beautiful property on the beach with a nice salt water pool. Gas grill. Gorgeous vies of sunset from this 2nd story condo. Small building with only 6 units. As tennis players we were able to purchase a one month membership to the nearby walking distance Cedars Resort. Our friends came for 3 days.

Ready to book again!

My friends, family and I had the most wonderful vacation while staying in this condo. Of course, you can’t go wrong with choosing LBK for a vacation location, but the condo and it’s location on LBK was beyond perfect. It was great to have Harry’s across the street for morning coffee and great meals. The owners were a delight to deal with and quick to answer any questions I had. The condo was spacious, well-equipped and had the most incredible views. It really felt like a home away from home. I honestly can’t imagine staying anywhere else. I will be booking again for next year and hopefully for many years to come.

Just Lovely

A beautiful property that is spacious, spotless, comfortable and well stocked. This place is on the quiet end of the island with no high rises and the sand is compact and perfect for long walks. Convenience store, pizza, restaurant and prepared food-to-go is right across the street. Seriously comfortable beds. With only 6 units, the pool is basically yours. Gracious hosts. You will not be disappointed. A lovely find.

We had a wonderful 2 weeks staying in this condo. It was perfect for us in every way. Awesome!

We spent three weeks in Azure by the Sea and wish we could have stayed longer. Jack and Wendy are super hosts doing all they can to provide a first-class experience for their guests. The condo is outstanding! It is comfortably furnished, linens and beach towels are plentiful, and the kitchen is well-equipped. The condo is well maintained and very clean. The view is awesome! And the sunsets were exceptional. It was only a short walk to the beach where lounge chairs awaited us. We appreciated the beach umbrellas Jack and Wendy provided for the use of guests. The location is ideal – easy driving distance to shopping and restaurants; and a convenience store, deli, several restaurants and a park within walking distance. Azure by the Sea is definitely on our list of places to visit again.

We found Azure by the Sea to be ideal for a 6 unit condo. This ocean front property met all our needs and was professionally cleaned. The owners could not have been more accommodating. We do plan to return for several years to come.

Wonderful time in LBK in early December

Wendy’s condo is in a small complex of 6 units on the northern half of the island away from the high rises. The condo was very well equipped and comfortable with new furniture, etc. We cooked most of our meals during our 2 week stay., grilling once. The nightly sunset “show” from the lanai was a highlight of the day. The heated salt water pool was wonderful. The beach was a few steps away and fairly deserted. The gulf water was nice, warmer than at New England beaches in the summer. We enjoyed kayaking twice with Happy Paddler kayaking. Our restaurant outings were to Shore on LBK and Dry Dock Grill, both with open air seating and both excellent. We had a fun lunch outing to Star Fish Co. in Cortez, picnic tables by the docks, with excellent seafood. We will hope to return next year!
