First off let me start off with the positive. The house is spacious and has plenty of room for families. The dock to the water is beautiful and the view of the lake was amazing. The hot tub was a hit amongst my family and this house is located in a great location close to everything. The only thing I would recommend is that some work needs to be done on vloset doors and bathroom doors and handles. Many of the doors in the house are off the tracks or the handles are loose. Also the fooseball table and pool table could use some tlc. All in all I would definitely rent this location again.

Fantastic vacation

We stayed for five days in this fantastic home. The layout is great for keeping us all together and not cramped and the ease of enjoying the gorgeous lake is wonderful. The kayaks were loved by everyone who was willing to venture into the water. Even my dogs. The owner was quick to communicate if we had any questions prior to the trip. Since we didn’t have any need to reach out during the stay, I can only say I believe we wouldn’t have had any problems getting in touch if needed.

Have stayed at this house twice with a group of friends and we have a great stay each time. House is huge and accomodates everything we need. Love the lake and kayaks. Hot tub is a huge bonus and we are 20 minutes away from everything we want to do. Host always answers questions. Would stay here again and again

Great Location!

Great week-end

We truly enjoyed this lakefront house! The view on the lake is fantastic. The owner has kayaks and canoe that you can use on the lake! The house has everything that families with kids need! Kids were happy to run around! A nice and clean beach with playground is a 5-minute walk from the house! Nice wooded walk to the lake is a plus. Hot tub is pretty big and there are plenty of towels and blankets to use. Host is very responsive to answer messages pretty much simultaneously! We had a great time!

Annual Labor Day family weekend

We had a wonderful weekend at Emerald Lakes this year. The house and the location is great. Beautiful views from the decks and from the lake. We enjoyed the kayaks and paddling around. Even though we had some rain, the pool table, foosball and other activities inside kept us busy. A great place to stay in the Poconos.

Relaxing Getaway

This rental was absolutely fantastic. The house is absolutely stunning and was the perfect setting for my getaway weekend with old friends. The private dock to the lake provided secluded access to nature right outside of the house, and the hot tub was a nice warm setting for the cool evening by the lake. The downstairs of this home is a perfect socialization room, with a pool table and a great setup for watching the big screen TV. The highlight of the house is the living room, with a vaulted ceiling and stunning natural light. The room provided plentiful and comfortable seating, a long dining table, deck access, and a great kitchen space. Last but not least, there were a tremendous amount of beds for comfortable sleeping away from home. Overall, this was the perfect rental and I will be booking this home again for an annual summer trip. Thank you to the host for having us in your beautiful lakefront property!

Plenty to do

The dock & walkway down to the dock needs to be upgraded. For our needs it was nice & just what we needed. Hot tub was a nice addition & clean. Kayaks were fun to have down there to explore the lake. Looking forward to coming back.

Scammed out of security deposit

The host lied about damages to the house after we checked out and kept $1000 of the security deposit. They claimed we broke the hot tub, left the door open and cats entered the home and defecated everywhere, and that someone peed on the bed. None of this was true and when asked to provide proof of damages I got no response from the host. I'm currently disputing the charge with VRBO and my credit card company. The house was fine, but do not stay here unless you want to get scammed.

Great stay!

4 adults and 5 kids, house was perfect for us! Plenty of space, had everything we needed, super close to Kalahari for a day trip with the kids and close to grocery store, restaurants etc. Would stay there again!

Cousins' Weekend

We had a wonderful time here. The house was perfect for a weekend away with cousins ages from 26-78. The house was so spacious and enough room for no one to get in each other's way. However, most of the weekend was spent around the very large dining table eating, drinking, and listening to stories. We took walks around the neighborhood and over to the island. We sat on the dock and enjoyed the view and sunset. We are already planning a warmer weekend to gather so we can enjoy the kayaks, floats and hot tub. Every question I had was answered and in a timely matter, even before booking.

Girls Weekend

We had a great weekend in Long Pond. The house was in a great location and we very much enjoyed our stay. Some extra towels and bath mats would have been nice. But other than that, it was great! Also, bring beach towels if you plans to use the hot tub.

Pocono House Review

I love that the property is on a small lake. You can sit on the upper deck of the house or sit on nice chairs by the lake to enjoy the view. The sunsets are especially nice. The location is very family friendly. We took walks everyday and saw lots of other families also taking walks.

Friends get away

Although the weather could have been better we had a great time. Pool, foosball, poker and movies kept our good time going while it rained. When the weather cooperated we took the kayaks out on the lake and caught fish. Sid was helpful and responsive. Thanks.

Annual family vacation

This property was beautiful! The lake was just a short walk down a tranquil path. The house was clean and had plenty of room. The dining room table was nice and big for family dinners, and the game room was a great touch. The hot tub was relaxing and it was nice to watch a movie on the big screen. I highly recommend this place for a fun family vacation!
