"Perfect for a weekend getaway! Just 15 miles from historic downtown Jefferson where we spent the days. Then back to the cabin on Lake of the Pines to watch the sunset on the porch of the cabin. So quiet the only noise was the birds at the water and the squirrels chattering and playing. "

"Very nice place to stay. The views from the decks and the large windows in the kitchen and living room were great over looking the lake. The cabin was very clean and had plenty of room for four adult friends to have there own bed. There is a loft with a bed but didn't use it. Old guys don't like steep ladders. Overall great place to stay."

"Charming house in great neighborhood in walking distance to town, shops & food. Host Lori (& hubby) have done a great job creating a cozy, comfortable home for guests. The way they documented the history & transformation of the Church House was really remarkable. We loved the history of the area! And all of the neighbors/business owners/workers were so friendly & helpful. We will be back as we didn’t have enough time to do everything we wanted to do."

"This cottage is cute, clean, and cozy. The front porch is great for sitting outside in the shade and even meeting the neighbours. The downtown area is within walking distance although we found that most places close early during the week. The neighbourhood is great for walking around. There are not many cars on the roads."
