Sleeping up to four guests across two bedrooms, with a private enclosed garden, dedicated workspace, and check‑in is by in‑person greeting, it delivers a genuine home-from-home experience.     Townshend Court has a warmth and character that sets it apart. Beautiful parquet flooring runs through the main living spaces, layered rugs add texture and colour, and a curated art collection alongside a classic chandelier give the flat a genuine personality. The living and dining spaces work equally well for a quiet evening in, a relaxed meal, or working from home. Room-darkening blinds ensure a restful sleep, portable fans are available for warmer months, and when the weather allows, the private garden becomes the natural heart of the flat.

    The Layout

    Living room and dining area: Generous open space with parquet flooring, ample seating, a television, chandelier, and decorative shelving. Connects naturally to a dining area seating four. Kitchen: Galley-style with sleek cabinetry, dark stone worktops, pull-out spray tap, induction hob, oven, microwave, refrigerator, freezer, coffee maker, blender, kettle, cooking basics, tea, coffee, and wine glasses. Door leads directly to the garden. Workspace: Dedicated desk with wired Ethernet and WiFi throughout. Bathroom: Marble-effect tiling, walk-in glass shower, rainfall head, wall-hung WC, basin, heated towel rail. Shampoo, shower gel, body soap, and hair dryer provided. Laundry: Washing machine and drying rack available. Bedrooms: • Bedroom 1: King-size, floor-to-ceiling wardrobes, white linen, room-darkening blinds. • Bedroom 2: Double, own television, bookshelf, colourful artwork, parquet floors, bedside lighting. Both rooms have hangers, storage, iron and ironing board. Outdoor space: Private herringbone-paved garden enclosed by cedar slatted fencing with established planting. A calm, sheltered space rare for central London.

    St. John`s Wood has a safe, quiet, village-like feel with independent cafes, restaurants, shops, supermarkets, dry cleaning, and a pharmacy all within easy walking distance. Regent`s Park is five minutes on foot. London Zoo, the Regent`s Canal towpath, Primrose Hill, Lord`s Cricket Ground, and Abbey Road Studios are all within easy reach. Getting around:
    • Regent`s Park - 5 min walk • Primrose Hill - 10 min walk
    • Lord`s Cricket Ground - 10 min walk
    • St. John`s Wood tube (Jubilee Line) - 10 min walk • West End via Jubilee Line - approx 20 min
    • Camden Market via bus 274 - approx 10 min. Off-site parking opposite on Townshend Road at £4 per hour, maximum 4 hours.

    House Rules

    • No smoking anywhere on the property, including the garden
    • No parties or events
    • Pets welcome; maximum 2 per stay; £20 per pet, must be agreed at booking
    • Check-in from 15:00; check-out by 11:00
    • Check‑in is by in‑person greeting; details provided before arrival
    • Building entry via communal code; flat accessed via private lockbox entrance

    Extra Charges

    Pet fee: £20 per pet, maximum 2 pets per stay, must be agreed at booking.
    Parking: Off-site on Townshend Road at £4 per hour, maximum 4 hours, payable on-site, not included in booking price.

    Booking Policy

    Full payment is due 30 days before arrival and will be automatically charged to the card on file. If payment fails, it must be completed within 24 hours or the booking will be cancelled. Early payment is allowed; card fees up to 3 percent are non-refundable if cancelled. Guests are not required to pay a damage deposit in advance. However, we reserve the right to charge up to two hundred pounds per stay to the card on file in the event of any damage. Please refer to your booking site for cancellation and payment policies.

    Cancellation Policy

    Full refund if cancelled 30 or more days before arrival. Fifty percent refund if cancelled fourteen to thirty days before arrival. No refund if cancelled within fourteen days of arrival. Please refer to your booking site for cancellation and payment policies.
