Bar and common spaces in photos were closed. We were disappointed after seeing photos of wonderful spaces we had no access too. The hotel is in a great location and room itself was a decent size and well kept. Would have liked to know the bar/common spaces in the photos were not available prior to booking.

No water in room, no apology from Fullers
No water was available in my room for most of the first day of my stay (5th January). I could not shower, wash, shave or use the toilet before going to meetings. Staff tried their best in poor circumstances, but no compensation, vouchers or apology was offered by Fullers. I had to shower in the basement of my employer's office (not ideal).

Counting House is an average hotel as far as service is concerned . We were there for four days but our room was not cleaned once. The elevator was regularly out of service. The room was spacious and nice. The receptionists were very helpful

Coming from a Financial Services background it was "fun" to stay in an old Bank Property . It has been very sympathetically refurbished yet has so many of the old style areas , character and building features Room was above rear door to pub below and might get noisy in warmer months Looking forward to coming back

This property was a happy surprise. LOVELY rooms and an amazing breakfast location and offerings. Picked for its location (access to LCY airport), it will be a new favorite. Expensive interiors...wood trim, heavy/lovely drapes/valances, marble (non-functioning but still pretty) period fireplace...comfortable beds, good linens. Would gladly return. Worth staying just to eat in the two story, old bank building lobby turned restaurant.

A good value base for a London stay
Really friendly, organised and helpful staff. The hotel is well located, in the financial district, so very quiet at the weekend (which we liked). Close to Bank station so well connected to everywhere in London. The room was a good size (by London standards). Clearly recently renovated. Clean and tidy. Wifi seemed fast (on our phones at least). One issue is that the room felt a bit cold (although a good temperature for sleep), and the heating control didn't seem to do anything. The other was that the room had an accessible shower wet-room. When showering the whole bathroom floor and toilet got wet and there were no hooks to hang clothes. Breakfast was good with a buffet and hot food menu. Will definitely stay again.

シティーのど真ん中で、地下鉄の利便性も良く、下のパブが歴史もあり、良い雰囲気で、軽く飲んですぐ寝られるのが最高でした。また、朝ごはんも種類があり、4泊しましたが、飽きなかったです。お部屋も綺麗でちょうど良い広さで水回りも使いやすく、心地よかったです。フロントの方もフレンドリーでした。また、ロンドン出張の際は利用させてもらいます。

Great budget hotel
As far as London hotel prices go this was very good value,.especially given the quality of the room, excellent breakfast and greal location. The rooms felt high end with all of the facilies you would expect from a hotel twice the cost. The staff were kind and helpful and there is a good bar / gastropub under the hotel which you get a 10% discount in when you show your room card.

Nice room but limited toiletries
Hotel room was nice but no face clothes, shower cap and not enough shower gel to wash yourself for 2 days. The room were noisy and the security door was being slammed at all hours or the night. Free breakfast was bang average and staff not very friendly or helpful.

Don’t do it. I booked months in advance and paid in full and when I arrived they didn’t have the room available that I booked and put me in a lower quality room. I requested to speak to the manager on several occasions but they never took the time to speak with me.

A good find in an expensive location
Spot on location and great quality room. Breakfast was much better than i thought it would be

Early morning fire alarm. Mass confusion, nobody at reception. Elevator not designed to work during fire. Stairs partially blocked with construction materials. Was no fire, but nobody knew what was going on. Terrible communication

Here at The Counting House we appreciate all of our guests feedback as it allows us to focus our attention when upgrading product, services and training we implement to the team. Our priority is to make our guests to feel welcome and provide comfort whilst with us and we are sorry your stay was disrupted by fire alarm.Our staff are trained what to do in the case of fire and it is most likely by the time you have reached reception Night porter has gone to silence the alarm. There are evacuation plans in each bedroom for our guests to follow. As our property has ongoing refurbishments, contractors working on the project ensure that stairways are clear in case of emergency. Please note that in case of fire emergency, lift is designed to automatically go to ground floor and stop operating for safety reasons.
