"Simply Outstanding. Don't go by the over- or under-photoshopped pics. The place is extremely comfortable, well-sized, with a plush bathroom, all imaginable amenities, the nicest kitchen we have seen, and amazing views. Please don't forget to gaze at the stars at night. We stayed in the Learach room. Since this is the located the "lowest" of all cabins, it gets the least amount of afternoon / evening sun and limited views of the water from outside, but we didn't mind. "

"Highly recommend this charming townhouse in Portree. Attractive living room and well-designed kitchen downstairs, with two comfortable bedrooms and bathroom upstairs. The location is unbeatable -- a 5-minute walk takes you to the town center for shops, pubs and groceries. Another few minutes takes you right to the harbour and more. Perfect launch point for trips up the Trotternish peninsula and over to the Cuillin mountains. The owner was very responsive and helpful, even sending us a heads-up...

House is in a quiet location but with easy access to shops, walks and local sites. The views from most rooms are spectacular and change throughout the day, depending on the weather. "This was the perfect place to stay in Skye!! We were located a short drive away from Portree and enjoyed the stunning views of the water and town from afar and beautiful living space. I was traveling with my parents and they especially enjoyed the board games and puzzles available for rainy days and the lovely kitchen. It was everything we needed for our trip and more!"

"This was our best stay on our whole trip to Scotland. While, it was a little off the beaten path, it provided a quiet, cosy oasis after we had been staying in towns in lodges without parking for our car. Achmore had ample parking on site. Ida met us at our car and showed us to our room while loading more fire wood in the pot belly stove in room. It was a lovely site as we walked in! So warm and cosy. The apartment was spacious with a full kitchen. We cooked dinner and Ida had even left us a wee...
