"Wir haben den Aufenthalt im Haus sehr genossen! Es war ruhig, gemütlich und der Blick ist spektakulär. Natürlich ist die Anfahrt eine Hausnummer, aber wenn man es mal gefahren ist, schätzt man die Abgeschiedenheit. :-)"

The patio is also right next to an old waterfall/fountain ruin type of thing that is lit up at night and it’s stunning. The inside of the apartment is also fantastic and we loved the very large bathtub and the rain shower heads. A few things to know—it IS the penthouse so there are quite a bit of outside stairs to get to the apartment. It wasn’t really a problem for us but...

"The property was very nice and the check in process was easy. It would be good to have a car because Uber and car share services do not work in Varenna. The taxi service is a little sporadic and expensive. The train station is a long walk as is town. The view was great with plenty of space. I would rent here again but only if i had a car"

"Das Haus ist sehr geschmackvoll und auch sinnvoll eingerichtet - die Küche ist gut und neuwertig ausgestattet und es gibt genügend Geschirr und sogar Teekannen. Das einzige, was wir vermissten waren wirklich scharfe Gemüsemesser.Die Betten sind überaus bequem und die ganze Wohnung macht einen gepflegten und sauberen Eindruck. Die Aussicht ist einfach atemberaubend und alles, was man dort oben hört sind Kuckucke und manchmal einen Esel, einen Kauz oder einen Pirol.Die Anfahrt ist allerdings etwas...

"Great place to stay for family. Short drive to Menaggio. Property has everything you need. A tea towel for kitchen would be useful. "

"Took the train/bus to Varenna from Milan. Check in was a short walk from bus stop. Apartment was a perfect location for our visit. Public dock was right outside the apartment. Ferry was a 10 minute walk. Apartment was spacious and nice. "

"Das Haus liegt in mitten einer malerischen Berglandschaft, fernab von öffentlichen Straßen und Massentourismus. Wer die Ruhe sucht, wird hier fündig. Selbst bei schlechtem Wetter ist das Haus einfach perfekt, da man es sich vor dem Kamin oder am Lagerfeuer gemütlich machen kann und einfach das Alleinsein genießen kann. "
