"Everything about this stay was perfect. The house is an older beach house but has all the ammenities you will ever need. You literally only need to pack your clothes and groceries. The location is perfect for the fishermen looking for a basecamp or you can enjoy fishing off the private pier. "Just love this spot. The water was right outside the screened porch. Got to fish whenever we wanted. The marina is about 12 minutes away: bair and apparently a great restaurant. Didn't get to try the restaurant. The people around were so friendly. The dolphins put on a show on two different days. The house had everything you could just about need. "We had a blast at Magnolia beach! Lots of fishing at chocolate bayou, magnolia beach fishing marina, and the port lavaca pier! Even whent swimming at the port lavaca community pool! Tonjas house is amazing, and neighbor Judy is such a doll! It was a great place to stay and a wonderful home base while we were down there having fun! "This is the second time we've stayed here and very much enjoyed it! We did notice that there were towels left in the dryer and the floor needed to be swept. The beds were made and the bathrooms were clean. That didn't affect our stay and we love the location! We will be back again to see Donna El Gotto! Also, the grass needs to be cut."
