"This is a lovely property and there were only minor issues with cleanliness such as dead bugs and spider webs throughout the rental which leads me to believe it is not thoroughly cleaned regularly. My major concern was that the listing stated that the owners who live in the house above stay at one of their other properties when the downstairs apartment is booked. "What a lovely apartment! It was bright, clean, and tidy. The shower was wonderful - I do like the overhead rain-style heads - and the beds were quite comfortable. We enjoyed our coffee on the back porch, and the view and seating were quite nice. A pileated woodpecker flew by one morning - what a treat!! We will certainly stay here again if the need arises."

Eventually, the sounds blend into the background but, some users may find this jarring upon arrival. "Costly for what it is. At a hotel the bathroom is in same room, black out shades, more space, better beds with pillows and blankets, most places offer free breakfast all for less than $200. Thankful it was available but costly. Very quiet Very clean I would recommend 1 of bigger cabins for longer stays, seemed like a safe welcoming place to be. Thus would be 4 star overall review."

"Clean safe place to stay for a single woman. The facilities are old and even thought the sheets, rug and towels smelled clean, I could tell that at one time this was not a smoke free room. The AC was great and not terribly loud. The plumbing was old and noisy, even when an adjacent room used water, it was loud. Fortunately, I'm not a light sleeper. The bathroom was seperate from the sink, so that was convenient. The location was just off the highway for my trip and the breakfast in the morning...
