This cabin is perfect for a weekend getaway. The host, Ed, was incredibly welcoming and thoughtful—he provided drinking water, butter, milk, and a few other staples, and even surprised us with a delicious carrot cake.It’s an ideal spot to relax with someone you love—whether you’re playing games, grilling, or simply enjoying the peaceful river just steps from the cabin. The hot tub was especially enjoyable at night and made the experience even more special.We’re already planning another trip back. Thanks so much, Ed!

The cabin was exceptional with an even more exceptional host(Ed). Everything we need was there ready to go, the location was scenic and perfect, but the best part was the host. Ed was attentive, had great communication, and cared about every little detail to make the getaway perfect. 10/10

The place is amazing right on the Wabash river. The property is awesome with beautiful view and a cozy cabin. The highlight of our trip was definitely the host Ed. He took care of us every step of the way. Surprising us with chocolate cake, wine, and cinnamon rolls. The cabin is stocked with anything you’d need. This whole trip absolutely exceeded my expectations. Would highly recommend if you want a nice getaway. We’ll definitely be back

We had a wonderful stay at this cozy cabin on the river. The location was beautiful and peaceful, perfect for a relaxing weekend. Ed was extremely nice and accommodating, making sure we had everything we could possibly need! We truly appreciated the warm hospitality and attention to detail. Highly recommend this place and we would definitely stay at one of Ed’s properties again.

Checking in was easy. When we arrived Ed was there to greet us with a warm welcome. He showed us how to use the hot tub, and had already lit the fire in the outdoor fireplace for us to enjoy. He pointed out the kayaks, and where other things were in Morels and said that we were free to use any of the vegetables from the outdoor gardens if we wished.We were delighted that there was fresh baked lemon cake set out on the table, and white wine and beer in the refrigerator for us to enjoy. Also, there as a fruit basket and other nice goodies in the very nice kitchen. Later on, Ed brought us some fresh picked green beans, banana peppers and tomatoes from the garden for us to use. The cabin is beautiful and comfortable.While we were here we took out the kayaks, played horseshoes, enjoyed the outdoor fireplace and fished (I caught three catfish from shore by the cabin). We also cooked on the propane grill, and on the stove in the very nice kitchen. We went to France Park, where we swam in the quarry and hiked on the trails. We also went to Science Project Brewery (very nice beers and pizza), Sportsman Inn, Riverside Restaurant (frog legs, bison burger), and Oak and Barrel (alligator fritters and lobster mushrooms). All were fabulous!It is obvious that Ed put a lot of hard work, care, and love into building and creating such a beautiful space by the river. His attention to detail, thoughtfulness and generosity made our stay was wonderful!Luis and Lisa Ayllon

Well equipped cabin rental. Host was wonderful and genuine. Scenery beautiful, just a lovely place. The host is thorough and accommodating. The places he recommends locally are spot on quality. We look forward to returning.

Went fishing

Great property, I wasn't looking for a "romantic" setting but the location on the river was fantastic for fishing. Caught a smallmouth, largemouth, and a catfish right from the back of the cabin. Wonderful host too. Would highly recommend.

Absolute Heaven!

Ed was absolutely amazing and he made sure we had everything we needed! We arrived to a bonfire already lit and ready, condiments, food, dessert, and drinks waiting for us! Ed was quick to respond to my messages if I had any questions and made the whole check-in process a breeze! We will definitely be visiting again!!

Romantic scenic getaway

This cabin was the most romantic, clean and scenic cabin. All the extras that were provided by Ed was amazing. The wine, cake, banana bread, refrigerator full of drinks and all the provided snacks was something we have never experienced from a host. Thank you Ed. Peaceful Indiana Winter Valentines on the Wabash

For us it was the perfect quiet serene valentine’s get away we were looking for. And the winter weather did not disappoint with all the snow covered trees on the river banks. The cabin was perfect and clean and all amenities very above and beyond what we expected. Mr. Dawson from the moment we made the reservation reached out and made every accommodation we asked for and even more .

Great stay and amazing host

Would highly recommend this stay to anyone. Ed was a fantastic host and i think i will have a hard time finding someone who cares more that him as a host. He had a fire ready for us when we arrived late. There was an amazing cake waiting for us with wine. The hot tub was fantastic.. the view of the river was breathtaking.
