The doors were locked with the wrong code when we got there. Host took a while to respond. We had to climb in through a window. Internet was down the entire time. House was great though.

Location and amenities are outstanding. Well stocked. Extremely quiet and relaxing with plenty room to stretch out after a day in the woods.Easy check-in / check-out with absolutely no hassle.Perfect location for dual sport motorcycling. Easy access to WNF trails, fuel, and restaurants, all just a few miles away.Thank you for a great stay!

I really enjoyed staying here with my family. It was very quaint and serene. The abilitly to have a real fire was a very sweet amenity. The home was decorated for Christmas which made my heart melt. The home had a lot of space and it worked out smoothly for 9 people. I wish the hottub had been large enough to accommodate more than 4 people and the place was shown in its real state because it seemed grander on the site, although still very nice. It is now December, yet I will say it was quite cold and I could not find a thermostat to adjust the temperature, so if you're coming in the winter bring warm clothes & pjs.

Relaxing and great amenities

We had a great time. Excellent layout of bedrooms and public areas so we could stay up late while some people wanted to get some sleep!

Beautiful, spacious, and Peaceful

The property was beautiful the house was awesome there’s a ton of room everyone had a bed! The check in process was easy and the property owner was very friendly and easy to get a hold of. I will definitely recommend this property to anyone looking to go to hocking hills for a weekend

This was our 3rd annual stay at this property. We have had a blast each and every time. The property is wonderful, spacious and very tranquil.

The Home was very large and the 17 family members had a great time. My ten year old granddaughter said it the best with "Grandma, we don't even have to leave the house is the vacation! My only issue is the 10:00 checkout with 17 people. Maybe 11:00 would be better. Would definitely stay again!

The property was nice once we cleaned up the mouse poop in the kitchen drawers and the septic smell was fixed. The response from 1st choice was great and they fixed the problem quickly. The only other thing i would mention is that you should not advertise a jacuzzi if it is not functional. Other than that the location was great, the space was great, the pool and the hot tub all great! the kids has fun in the game room

Family Summer Vacation

With temps in the 90's, the pool was a huge success. The house is big with 3 floors and it affords quiet areas when needed. The 57 acres is shared with 2 other cabins, but it is private enough that we never saw anyone else during our stay. The house could use a few maintenence updates, but overall a nice stay.

4th year in a row!

Our group made our annual trip to Mountain Lodge and it couldn't have been better. This was the first year we had significant snow and as soon as possible the road was plowed. We had a blast being snowed in. What a beautiful and peaceful property. Can't wait until next year!

Family weekend

We had a great trip and loved the cabin! It had everything we needed and more. We loved swimming in the pool and relaxing in the hot tub that were right next to the covered porch. The kids and adults both enjoyed the air hockey, foosball, and pool tables! The service and WiFi were not great, but it was kinda nice to unplug for the weekend. We can’t wait to come back next year!

Beautiful Cabin in Hocking Hills Area

This was a beautiful cabin in a beautiful setting! We had 11 adults and it was a great size! The game room was amazing with huge TV (college football), pool, air hockey and more...the hot tub was nice. We had a campfire one evening, great area for that! The porches were amazing and could accommodate everyone! The linens were tired but it didn't affect our stay.

Large spacious cabin near Hocking Hills

The cabin had tons of space for all of our family to stay. Large open areas for hanging out and dining. The furnishings were old and we had a few issues with things but overall a great stay. Pros - 6 bedrooms, 2 large living areas, open kitchen/dining space. Cons - carpet was dirty/stained upstairs, some minor leaks, dryers did not work, Game table had electrical issue.I’m sure the issues will be taken care of. We loved waking up to deer in the backyard every morning and the hot tub was nice. Plenty of parking.

Great location and house set up...needs some TLC

The physical location was awesome and close to town, easy to find and get to! The set up of the house was also nice. Large common areas. Improvements needed in internet, electric (lots of plugs did not work!), overall general maintenance and tune ups. Loved all the views and common spaces to gather with friends and family.
