  • The Forest Edge Cabin is a luxurious cabin nestled in the woods of Hocking Hills on 57 acres of private acreage while still remaining close to Logan restaurants, shops, and local attractions. The cabin boasts 2 bedrooms, 1 bathroom, a large living space, and a magnificent kitchen. Traveling is a breeze when you stay with us as the lodge is fully equipped with great amenities. Property offers game room, outdoor hot tub, fire pit, and hiking trails. State Parks, lakes, canoe & kayaking, ziplining and so much more all located within a short distance from the property.
    Relax, stargaze, or spend some quality time out by the campfire with family and friends. 10 minutes down the road, guests will find Lake Logan which offers an abundance of relaxation by the water. Take a 15-20 minute drive from your cabin to visit Old Man’s Cave, Cedar Falls, Ash Cave, Rock House, Conkle’s Hollow, or Rock Bridge located in Hocking Hills State Park. No matter the season, you and your guests won’t be disappointed when visiting all the beauty Hocking Hills offers!

    The Forest Edge cabin is near Hocking Hills located 5 miles from Logan and 12 miles to Nelsonville, Ohio. The State Park offers over thousands of acres to explore by hiking, off-highway vehicle riding, mountain biking, or horseback riding. When in town, guests will want to visit Logan or Nelsonville’s Historic Square Arts District, Stuart’s Opera House, Hocking Valley Scenic Railway, or the Nelsonville Music Festival that is held every year at Hocking College. On the opposite side of Nelsonville is Lake Hope State Park located in Zaleski State Forest. Guests can enjoy some fine dining at Lake Hope Lodge or a day of picnicking and swimming with family and friends.

We absolutely loved our stay here, the staff was really easy to get in touch with as well. Only complaint I have is that the hot tub was green, I contacted the desk and they sent someone out, but they had to drain the entire hot tub and said once it was heated up we could use it- had to wait until the next day for it to heat up and then ended up with chemical burns because it was too soon even though we were advised it was okay to use as though it was one hour shock or something. But overall it was a great trip.

Our stay was wonderful. The cabin was clean and organized. The hot tub worked perfectly. Great location where you feel very secluded but close enough to town for food. Great experience!

We enjoyed our stay at Forest Edge. It was very clean and comfortable. The hill to get to it was very steep and a little tough to navigate. It definitely is remote.

A chance to reboot

We just needed a chance to rest and relax. This was the perfect place to reboot. The cabin was clean, quiet and comfortable. We really enjoyed the covered deck.

The outside furniture is coming apart and the lighting above the outside and inside table was not bright enough at night to play games and puzzles.Hot tub looked very old snd we didn't try it. Kitchen and bedrooms were lovely. Wifi was very confusing and we were frustrated we never got it going.

stayed 2 nights and hiked old man's cave,cedar falls, ash cave, Rock House, conkles hollow gorge, Rock bridge the hot tub was amazing after a long day, we cooked pizza pies over the fire and grilled out steaks one night on the grill.

Nice cabin looks like the pictures, only complaint would be the grill needs updated it was very dirty hard to cook on, the cabin could be cleaner for the price.

Loved every bit of it! Very relaxing. Hot tub was great! Only thing was the ac in the living room doesn’t work. Not a huge problem bc the fans in the house was great! Also the family dog loved it as well!

Relaxing getaway for spring break!

We loved staying at this cabin! It was so cozy and the perfect size for the four of us. We really enjoyed the hot tub and many games in the cabin.

Honeymoon

Me and my husband had a great time. The cabin is very secluded, quiet, and clean. We were able to enjoy the hot tub, sit by the fire, and reminisce. Much needed time for us and it was an excellent place to get away.

It is beautiful and serene, the dogs loved the huge space to run and the trails to explore from the house. We loved the quiet. It is a beautiful house inside as well, the large deck out back got lots of use. You might want to consider not taking a car up the driveway as it is definitely rough, but it's in the mountains so that is expected. We would absolutely stay again!!
