This cabin was one of the best if not the best one we have stayed in Hocking Hills! The bedrooms were all very comfortable and the sitting room with couch and ottoman over the bridge was perfect for my 11 year old son. The lower area was nice with pool table and separate fridge for drinks. The kitchen was very nice and the open floor plan kept everyone engaged whether sitting on the couch watching football, doing crafts at the dining room table, or preparing a meal in the kitchen. Having a bathroom on all levels was a great touch and the fire pit was awesome and easily accessible through the lower level. The one minor complaint was the lack of lighting on the lower level and the upper bedroom.

Nice Place, Great Location

Fox fire cabin

We all enjoyed staying at Fox Fire. Was nice and enjoyable to just sit outside around the campfire and enjoyed the hot tub as well. Would recommend to anyone one looking to get away from everything and just enjoy being with the family. Cabin was spacious and very nice.

The Hot Tub was perfect, loved having the TV to viewThe cabin over all was clean - the outdoor firepit area was fantasticThe scenery was awesome. The upstairs bedroom had no controller for the TVThe pool table does not return the ballsAlso, the lower level bedroom has 5 Great beds for kids however, there are not dressers or closets to store your stuff. Main level bedrooms both have closets but one is used for cleaning products - again, no place for your stuffThe upstairs bedroom has not closet or dresser either.We only stayed for a short weekend, however, If I stayed longer I would definitely not be happy

Not bad

Overall good besides the TV on the deck is broken, the hot tub cover lift is installed wrong so it doesn't work, and the remote was dead in the main living area. Very nice and large space overall. Would stay again!

A Gem in the Woods

Lovely home. Plenty of space for 5-6 adults. Was lacking in a few basic kitchen utensils. Management staff very attentive to requests.

Awesome stay at Fox Fire!

The cabin was so nice, everyone loved it! It was clean and updated. The beds were comfortable and the location is perfect, 7-10 min to Old Man's cave and the local winery which is exactly what we wanted. I had a few questions before our stay and the folks at Edwards Realty were very responsive and helpful. Would absolutely recommend and book this cabin for myself again in the future!

Perfect Cabin

The cabin was perfect. It was so clean I thought it was newly built. It had everything we needed. The location gives you the in the woods with nature feel. It was amazing! Arrive during daylight because the darkness made it a little difficult to find on our arrival. We loved the place. The jacuzzi tv needs to be replaced.

Great location and on site property

The place was nice and the location is really good for what we wanted to do! Lots of room and accessible to a lot of different options. The downer was the jacuzzi and the pool table, 2 things we wanted to take advantage of while there. The jacuzzi is old and the jets only worked 1 of the 4 seats. The pool sticks were all old and had no tips so you couldn’t even hit the balls. Bummer!

Bad lighting and dirty floors

The floor of the house left my white socks very dirty. Also the lighting of the house is not good, no dinner table lights, no lights over the pool table making it useless.

Overall it was good

We went to enjoy each other's company - and that we got to do. We were slightly disappointed in a few things though. the shower in the Master Bedroom (upstairs) did not close all the way and there was a piece of trim that was coming down near the sink. The couch in the upstairs loft area was so worn that you could see the white material that is underneath the leather. The hot tub control panel was blank (all of the writing had worn off) and there are no covers over the areas at the bottom of the tub where the water is pulled through - two individuals in our party had their heels sucked up in to the tube. We were able to pull their heels out without injury but scary all the same. And lastly, the TV out by the hot tub did not work correctly. When we first turned it on there was a section of lines that ran vertically and did not show the picture. After about 5 minutes it went away and we didn't worry about it - until we were watching the final game of the world series and not only did the lines come back but it froze and you couldn't watch anything. I know this may seem like a lot of complaining - but over all it was a wonderful weekend and we are truly grateful to have been able to go. Everyone in our group works in the non profit world in our community and that can often times be very stressfull - this was a great way for us all to relax and refocus - thank you!

It was very clean and a nice place for a weekend stay. Loved the location and saw many deer running around. Couple issues we had though.1. Downstairs had absolutely no heat and it was freezing. We had a space heater which worked in the bedroom down there but the rest of the basement stayed freezing. 2. Main bathroom had a horrible odor, got worse if you opened the cabinet under the sink which is where the towels were. We kept spraying febreeze over and over again to try to help but it would only last a couple mins.3. Not enough lighting in kitchen/dining room area.

Hot tub couldn’t be used, as it had too much chlorine and eyes were burning. Campfire was nice, but there were so many tiny bugs all over the chairs that you couldn’t sit down. Internet wasn’t strong and signal strength was sketchy. My granddaughter loved the cat walk above living area. The location was ideal and close to just about everything. Loved the big wraparound porch and hammock. Poor lighting in bathroom and shower areas. Did not use basement beds as it seemed pretty chilly there. Overall, it met our needs and the stay was comfortable.

Overall enjoyed property. Definitely not for senior citizens. Short on hand rails and safety bars.

Location of property was great . Functionality of property was good. Lots of smaller complaints. A/C was not balanced over three levels. Ice maker did not work. Only one hair dryer for three bathrooms. No chairs for fire pit. Etc.

Location, Beauty & Quality

The cabin is wonderful with quality throughout from the bathrooms, bedding, indoor and outdoor furniture, appliances to even the smallest detail like the hand soap. The location is close to shopping, restaurants and activities. The bar has been set high…now to see if it’s just as great the next stay!

Great time!

We had a group of 3 moms and 6 kids, plenty of room for everyone!! 10 minutes to old man's cave, highly recommend! We had a great time at cabin, playing games, hot tub, watching movies! Memories were definitely made! One thing I recommend if you are cooking your meals, bring some Tupperware, the house didn't have any. But the kitchen was stocked with everything else! Couches and beds were very comfortable!

Amazing experience

We had a wonderful time at Foxfire cabin. The cabin was extremely clean. We enjoyed the fire pit and hot tub. It rained so we had fun playing pool. All the furniture was very comfortable as were the beds. Everyone had a great time, highly recommend!!

Yearly friends trip
