"No one at the gated property. No check in instructions. Arrived at 4:03 on 3/13/26 for a three-night stay. I’ve used VRBO for over twenty years and this is the first time I couldn’t access the property. Had to book overpriced Holiday Inn Express rooms because of the Wine and Chocolate Festival I was attending and a huge youth baseball tournament which kept the hotel loud all night each night. "Charming property, quiet, great location. The cookies and eggs were delicious and there were snacks as well-very thoughtful. It was perfect for us with our dog. Keep in mind this is a farm and horse property. The floors are not going to be perfectly clean because of this. Also, with all of the farm land around, there are bugs (mostly outside but we did see a few inside. There is no hair dryer so be sure to bring one. I loved the simple checkout instructions. No need to take out trash, strip...
