"We had a lovely weekend here, two families of four with two dogs. We all appreciated the outside space- garden for dogs and kids to roam (and look at the chickens), bbq and take in the views morning and evening. We loved the record player and showing the kids what vinyl sounded like, and having enough ro to cook and eat meals together inside and out. Bedrooms were lovely and everyone slept well. Anne and Philip were gracious hosts and left a lovely welcome basket- much appreciated!"

"This property had everything and more! It was clean and comfortable with so much room. We stayed as 2 families and there was ample room for everybody. Perfect location to explore the Black Mountains. House had everything you could need, highly recommended."

The children loved to help with the calves and feel involved! An amazing fortnight spent in this remote farmhouse, very near to black Mountains. Our very best wishes!"

"A few leaflets about the area would have been good. We found the library on the day it was closed which may have helped. Another toilet upstairs in the house would have been useful, but generally the house was very comfortable .was"

"Really beautiful property with a great cosy feel to it. The fireplace was great at keeping the house warm and toasty. Kitchen is well stocked and the sound of the stream near by was lovely! The road going up to the property is a bit challenging so something to be mindful of with your vehicle. Very remote but a small village is a 15 minute drive away. The listing says there is a hot tub but they are just regular bath tubs - still great and relaxing! Just no jet element to them."
