"This was our 2nd stay in Villa Varkoula. It’s a simple but lovely villa, with pool and great views of hills. Very peaceful. A joy to watch the swallows/swifts dipping down to sip from the swimming pool, a few sightings of an eagle and cute bats in the evening. A car is essential, but the town of Lixouri and several lovely and not too busy beaches are all within a short drive. Perfect for a quiet getaway or as a base to explore the wonderful island of the Kephalonia."

Great views across the inlet and easy viewing from the balcony as long as you do not mind the fairly busy road below. "Mi marido y nuestros 2 hijos de 7 y 9 años hemos disfrutado muchisimo de la estancia. Tiene unas vistas impresionantes del mar y la Isla de Ítaca, a un paso de Fiscardo, la piscina refrescante para la vuelta del mar, las cenas en la terraza y todo lo necesario para poder cocinar o simplemente relajarte. Greg estuvo atento en todo momento por si nos faltaba algo y nos dejó una bandeja de cosas de bienvenida. Totalmente recomendable. Gracias Kefalonia, seguro que volveremos!"
