Very unusual hotel in that there is no reception or staff to be seen. You are sent your entry codes via message for internal and external entry. Very clean and tidy and a super central location. Was surprised to get a maid service but then disapointed we didn't get teas and milks replaced. First world problems. The room had a fridge but it didn't work and so much my milk curdled in it. The shower was powerful but the water was tepid at best. Lots of noise at night due to it's central location but overall a decent 'hotel'.

Brilliant hotel. Room was lovely and very clean. Slight issue with getting into the room as it is an electronic door handle which I had never come across before but that's my ignorance. Next time I stay in liverpool this hotel is the first place I am going to try and book. Location is great, right by central station and concert square with a convenience store over the road.

Great check-in experience. Lovely quiet room. Fantastic location. I slept very well but could feel springs in mattress. Couldn't get any channels on TV. Enjoyed my stay though abs would return

The room was okay just didn’t have any heating and a bit loud at night because of the clubs and takes around 20 minutes for the heat up the shower but the rest was all good and close to the city centre i do still recommend

Hotel was in a really ideal location, right in the centre of Liverpool and there are multiple car parks if travelling by car. The room was average, could have done with being a bit cleaner but other than that it was a lovely room. We didn’t even see a single staff member also, we arrived at check in time on the Sunday and no one was there. We checked out a touch early on Monday and still no one there so unable to comment on the friendliness of the staff

Very central, room was very clean and spacious, perfect for getting ready with the girls! Lovely and modern, easy keyless entry, staff were very helpful with finding us an iron! Only issue was getting in touch beforehand to enquire about early check in. The number on the app takes to different place and one linked on google doesn’t work! Plus there seemed to be no actual system, just hope for the best when we get there - but this didn’t end up being an issue anyway! Would definitely stay again!

Clean. Fridge. Lots of towels. Lots of space. Heating worked, and amazing fan. The staff will answer your questions by message in hotels.com, and there’s a number to ring. Right by all the bars and shops. There was only one small bin in the bathroom, no staff in the day, but was fine. Just I like to leave my luggage behind reception and go shopping but didn’t feel safe with no staff. A loud noise came on sounded like boiler around 11pm, but did turn off shortly. No lift and quite a few stairs if you struggle.

Had difficulty finding the accommodation initially, but a quick phone call soon got us in the right place. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The room was a good size and the secret garden was an added bonus.

Room was generally clean but cold on arrival. I turned on the fan heater but it only blew cold air. I called the hotel and someone quickly came to my room and sorted the heating and it soon warmed up. Given it was Boxing Day I appreciated how efficiently the issue was dealt with.

Let down because of drainage smells

Room was lovely, unfortunately though the smell from the drains was potent in the shower rooms, we stayed in the deluxe suite, on the 3rd floor, couldnt fault the room itself, lovely spacious and comfortable, for 7 of us, nice touches with complimentary water and some treats in the fridge, etc, but the smells was almost unbearable, it needs sorting ASAP! Would stay again if it wasn't for the smell.

Upon arrival we were told the card machine had not been set up yet and that we were not able to pay by card. We were then told to write our card details down so they could process the payment, I said I wasn't happy writing my bank details on a bit of paper to be told "it's ok, the paper will get destroyed"

Hotel address is wrong. Wasted 20 minutes. Called hotel. They didn’t know as they have a ‘group’ telephone. Room noisy, couldn’t lock from inside, no air con. Payment didn’t work.

Not the best, but not the worst. Locating the hotel was somewhat problematic as the address on Hotels.com was not where the entrance to the hotel is, it's actually on a different street entirely. On check in, 2 other customers were returning from a brief while out and when arriving back at the hotel were informed that their room had been changed. All of their belongings werent accounted for and the member of staff at reception couldn't provide any reassurance as to where their belongings were or why their room had been changed. Our check in was relatively straightforward, once we found the right hotel! There is no lift that I saw so if you're in a room other than 1 and 2, there are a few flights of stairs to face. The room was fine, very average. A sparse supply of plugs so I would advise taking an extension lead if you have more than 2 electrical items. The shower was not good at all. It took approximately 15 minutes to even become warm and didn't get fully hot after that. The shower is completely open so the bathroom floor gets saturated very quickly. Only 1 small towel was provided despite booking the room for 2 people. The hairdryer in the room was very average as well so I would advise females to take their own to avoid standing drying your hair for 20 minutes. The bedding was clean and the bed itself was comfy. It's a reasonable hotel for the price but nothing extravagant at all and mainly a place to put your head down.

Hidden gem

Service I called before we arrived to find out if we could check in at 2m and I was told that check in time was at 2m, I also asked about parking and was informed the hotel did have parking. When we got there there was no parking and I had a dispute with receptionist about the check in time as she argued it was 3pm. She called someone and eventually allowed us to check in at 2pm. The room We stayed in the secret Garden Room, it was beautiful room and good value for the money. It slept 6 people and had 3 decent sized double beds. The room had a dressing table that seated two people. 2x bathrooms and a Hidden Garden. The room had mood lights, a smart tv and all your mod cons. It had tea and coffee facilities and a mini fridge full of cold cans of pop. However we didn’t drink any as we didn’t know if there would be a cost for this. The hotel took my bank details, incase of any extra charges/breakages which is fair. The only reason I am not giving this more stars is because there were a smell of cooking spices in the room which was quite over powering. Overall we had a good stay though.
