We booked this a few weeks before our trip as travelling from Wales to Liverpool for the football. Details from Expedia/ Vrbo said access details would come 3 days before the visit. Messaged the host beforehand to just check this was the case ...no reply. Fast forward to 3days before, no information, contacted customer service who couldn't get hold of the host. Fast foward to the night before after more online customer service chats, and a phone call and eventually a reply with access details. At this point I was nervous about the property but decided to stick with it. There were 5 of us so needed the sofa beds, had to rummage and find bedding and then the condition of the sofa bed wasn't great and seemed broken. No hot water One window was sealed up with what looked to be tissue paper.... And another didn't really open. Also didn't discover this is on the 12th floor until the cess details arrived, this I feel should be highlighted in the initial details. Overall we slept and it was fine but probably wouldn't book it again

Had booked in advance by around two months, to come up for the Liverpool title parade. I called ahead with my name and number, to see if we could do an early check in - the guy said it was unlikely but he would keep me updated - he has my information anyway. Fast forward to 2pm, the actual check in time. I call the guy, saying that we have arrived, however he says he was having issues finding our booking and would call me back. Fast forward 15 minutes, still not heard anything so i try calling him - he's airing my calls, rejecting them... so now the panic sets in. Trophy parade starts soon and we are stuck in Liverpool with nowhere to go, no base. I have learnt however that for some reason - even though i had my booking clear as day on my expedia app and in my email confirming the stay - that this guy has an entirely different person booked to stay. Chuck on top of that some all whilst we are trying to sort out alternative accommodation and contact this guy - some local woman in the tower block is shouting some rubbish at us about not being able to park there, and just generally being unpleasant - cheers you hag for the supportive words 👍 Eventually we sorted somewhere else to stay, at 3 times the cost of what i initially paid for this place. A word of advice for anyone else who is thinking of booking here or anywhere else similiar: just pay that little bit extra and book a hotel - you are guaranteed a bed, adequate communication and avoid cretinous residents.

Apartment ok, weit oben, gute Aussicht. Nötigste Ausstattung. Für 4 Personen gut geeignet, Schlafmöglichkeiten auch für 5 oder 6. Nette Vermieter.

This property is in the perfect location for spending a night in Liverpool. Perfect for a one night stay with friends. There are some cosmetic issues, but it was ok for the one night.

The lift didn’t work and flat was on the 12th floor!

The lift didn’t work and flat was on the 12th floor! The check-in process was tricky because there were two different entrances and needed a key fob to open the gate to park our vehicle. The flat wasn't necessarily dirty, but it was definitely smelly. Someone must have forgotten to take the trash out and the mop that they used to clean smelled like mold. The cleaning rags in the bathroom just didn't look pretty. Tried to connect with the host to figure out where he wanted us to leave the keys at the end and didn’t reapond until after we had already left.
