"I was unable to contact the host. They did not respond to my emails and the phone was disconnected. I received an automated email from VRBO with the check in instructions but it it was wrong. Despite numerous calls to VRBO in the preceding week, they would not and refund the payment until I turned up at the property. When I arrived, the host was not aware that the property had been rented. I eventually received a refund but the whole experience was a disaster. "
