Family Reunion

I can’t say enough wonderful things about this home. From the moment we arrived, the house felt warm, welcoming, and perfect for a relaxing family vacation. The kitchen was fully stocked with everything we needed to prepare full meals for two families.The beds were comfortable, and every room was thoughtfully decorated. The highlight for us was boathouse—absolutely exceptional! There was plenty of space to relax, swim, and store our boat & jet skis. The water was deep and clear, and we jumped off the top deck more times than we could count. We were in the water from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. every day—truly a water lover’s paradise.The downstairs was perfect for movie & game nights with a great-sized TV and comfy seating. The outdoor deck was one of our favorite spots—we started our morning there with coffee, taking in the stunning lake views. The coffee bar was a nice touch as well as bathrooms stocked with shampoo, conditioner, body wash, and hand soap. All the essentials.Our host Tim was excellent— responsive, thoughtful, and made us feel right at home. The check-in & check-out process was simple and organized, with helpful photos to show where everything belonged. We would rent it again in a heartbeat. Highly recommend to anyone looking for the ultimate lake house experience!

Place was awesome and in perfect location just off main lake. The dock had plenty of room and the water is super deep off the dock for kids to play and jump off the roof.Tim was super accessible and answered all our questions. We will definitely be back next year!!

Lake life 2024

The home was amazing, and the weather was perfect. Everyone thoughly loved the home and how stocked everything was. Also the sheets were amazing and were definitely a topic of conversation! We loved days fishing from the boat house and ping pong rallies on the porch!

Amazing Week at the Lake

We had the best stay staying at the Griffin Property - we had a mixed group of family and friends (including grandparents and young kids. The owners have thought of EVERYTHING- plenty of your every day needs and a well stocked kitchen. The girls loves the shampoo, conditioner, and body wash stocked in each bathroom. The parents loved that we didn't have to pack our lily pad - the kids got a kick out of learning to paddleboard and jumping from the 2nd floor of the boathouse. The boathouse is were we spent most of our time, we brought a jet ski and a wakeboarding boat and both were able to be on the homes lofts (critical for us!). The home is located on a great spot on the lake where you can easily wakeboard and do water sports in front of the house while some stay to watch. We have rented many many homes over the years, beach houses, mountain houses, and our newest vacation - lake houses. Lakin it Easy is hands down our favorite and we will certainly be rebooking!

Awesome Summer Vacation Week!

Everything about the property was as advertised and exceeded expectations. Upon arrival the house was in excellent shape and it didn’t take the kids long to find their way to the beautiful boat house and jump in the lake. The house was well stocked with everything we could think of for the lake which made the stay super convenient. We would definitely recommend this house to those looking for a great week at Lake Gaston!

Wonderful!

The house was perfect for our family, including grandparents, two adult couples and teens plus friends. This lake home is tastefully decorated and includes many amenities. We loved the spacious porches, large game room, two fridges and incredible 2-level boat house. The cove was quiet and allowed for hours of relaxation on the water. We have stayed at many houses on Lake Gaston - this one is a gem!

Amazing, Amazing, Amazing!!

Beautiful home on a peaceful part of the lake in a peaceful neighborhood. The pictures do not do it justice!! Prettier and larger than the pictures on VRBO (which are actually very pretty and very nice). One time through the house and the property and my wife said, "If we move to the lake, this is exactly how I want my house!" Great set up for a large group, kitchen supplied to cook for a large group (first time we have ever experienced this!), lots of room, lots to do. The dock/boathouse is superb, the channel on which the house is located is quiet so you can kayak, paddleboard, swim, etc. but also long and wide enough to ski, tube, jet ski! The yard near the road was great for yard games, frisbee golf, cornhole, etc. The owners are superb - everything taken care of quickly and questions answered fully! Would give 6 stars if I could. All 13 family members who vacationed here loved the place!

Great house on the lake for swimming, boating and playing.

The house is on a perfect spot on the lake for our kids and grandkids to swim, jump, tube, waterski , fish and boat! The kitchen is well equipped for all the cooking, baking and grilling we did. The hosts were helpful and available for questions. The property is beautiful and our family had a great time together! The dock really is terrific!

Thanksgiving on Lake Gaston 2023

My family has had our reunions in many rentals over the years. This home, by far, was the best we have ever stayed in. It was lovely and very accomodating - large enough for our family members, very well stocked.And the owners went above and beyond to make our stay inviting and comfortable. They were welcoming and so helpful. This home is the place to stay when planning a trip to Lake Gaston!!

Deserves 6 stars!

Our group was so lucky to stumble upon this property. It's a luxury home, not a rental house. The owners are so kind and gracious. The dock is a dream. Truly nothing more you could want. The house layout is great for large groups. There were way more beds than we needed, but gave lots of options for our blended group. I just hope we left it clean enough to be allowed to go again. :)

Wow, did we ever find a jewel in this luxury lake house.

The house is beautiful and goes way beyond what most rentals offer. With 6 bedrooms, our family of 7 had more than enough space to relax and enjoy. The kitchen was amazing with everything you could ever need. We had lot of parking space for multiple cars, our truck and trailer. If you have your own boat, which we did, they have a boathouse with lifts for a pontoon, ski boat and personal watercraft. The kids enjoyed jumping off the two story boathouse into the lake (water is deep enough for that)! I think you will find the Griffins are great to work with.
