Welcome to Waddle and Wave, a spacious Lake Gaston retreat created for easy days on the water and memorable time with family and friends. Located on the NC/VA border in close proximity to restaurants, shopping, golf course, winery, breweries, and more!

Located in the gated community of Eaton’s Crossing, this nearly 4,000-square-foot home offers beautiful water views throughout, multiple outdoor living spaces and plenty of room to gather without feeling crowded. The open-concept main living area is perfect for group dinners, game nights or relaxing together after a full day on the lake.

Start your morning with coffee and a lake view, spend the afternoon boating, paddling, swimming or lounging by the community pool, and end the day watching the sunset from the neighborhood sundeck.

EASY LAKE ACCESS

Bring your own boat or rent one nearby and enjoy convenient access to Lake Gaston. You'll have access to the neighborhood boat ramp, dedicated boat slip and day slips.

The community also has a cove for swimming, floating and fishing, as well as a large sundeck that is a wonderful place to take in the evening sunset.

Please let us know if you plan to bring a boat so we can confirm slip compatibility and provide launch and trailer-parking information. There is a boat lift (6000 lb) that can be configured for V Hull/Pontoon/Tritoon. Slip is 10 feet wide.

BOAT AND WATERCRAFT RENTALS

If you aren’t bringing a boat, several nearby businesses make it easy to get on the water. Summer rentals fill quickly, so we strongly recommend reserving in advance.

Whether your perfect lake day involves boating, paddling, swimming, watching the sunset or simply relaxing with the people you love, Waddle and Wave gives you a beautiful home base for experiencing Lake Gaston.

Check-in/out: Guest will receive a message 24 hours in advance of reservation date with address and door lock code. Check-in is 4 pm and check-out is promptly at 11 am to allow cleaning crew access. Early arrivals and late departures may be requested prior to arrival date.

Parking: Free parking is located directly out the front door for hassle free loading and unloading. Additional parking can be found by the pool area.

Security cameras: There is Ring Doorbell camera on the front of the house and security cameras located at the front/rear of the property for insurance purposes.

House rules: All guests have read and will abide by the below house rules. Failure to do so may result in additional fees and/or eviction from the property without refund.

No parties or events of any type are allowed. Maximum guest capacity is 12. Only guests listed on the reservation are permitted to stay overnight.

No smoking of any kind inside the home, only smoking outdoors is permitted. Smoking inside the home will result in a $500 fee.

Fires: No open fires are allow at any time.
