Visiting family that live in East Preston so we knew the area. The house was immaculate and perfect for 6 adults. There was everythimg that you needed and more including board games, buckets & spades and more. A lovely quiet area too! The hosts were great at communicating and on our arrival there was a food package waing for us.Would highly recommend a stay there!

New Year stay

What can say other than A MAZ ING!! The house is stunning and had everything we could have asked for. My dog Bubba loved the freedom of running around the whole property and I could relax knowing he was safe. All the added special touches were very much appreciated. Bread, eggs, butter, milk, lager and processco what more could you ask for. Everything you needed was provided and the property is so clean. The only thing I couldn’t do was work the extractor but I just opened the window when cooking New Years dinner. Thank you so much for helping me enjoy my break.

Beach house

Detached house is on a well landscaped quiet private estate with a mix of Victorian villas, Edwardian houses and fifties bungalows gardens and patio to front and rear, well equipped with everything we needed for a great holiday. Great location easy walk to beach with good beachside cafe, shops, pubs and restaurants in local village within 5 min walk. Supermarkets and garden centres close by. Enjoyed lots of evening sunshine sat on garden furniture with a beer and wine Good wifi which kept teenager's happy

Peaceful home from home getaway

Great house, with a chilled beach vibe about 5 mins walk from nearest beach and not far from Kingston Gorse beach and the Bluebird cafe. The beach is fabulous and sandy for miles, when the tides out. Rented the house whilst we were renovating our own house and it was perfect for getting away from it all, and long walks down by the sea with the dogs. Nearby there’s a a nice local Sardinian restaurant in walking distance, plus we found the Andalusian tapas bar and restaurant in Ferring and Enzos in Worthing which would recommend! All amenities close by with good maim shopping in Rustington and local shops nearby. Thanks Sarah !

Amazing 50th Bday trip

Amazing area and a nice property in a fantastic location. The trip was to celebrate my wifes 50th who was born and grew up in Worthing. Easy checkin process and a lovely property that is well maintained. Nothing disappointed us and we left the property cleaner than we found it, would recommend to anyone.

Great staycation

We have just had a lovely 2 weeks in this beautiful house close to the beach. Tastefully decorated and well laid out for families - it suited us perfectly. Only 2 minutes walk from the beach which is dog friendly. It’s a shingle beach but at low tide has fab rock pools and at mid tide is sandy enough for beach cricket and sandcastles. The sea was very warm and great fun for swimming and paddling. Sarah was lovely and couldn’t have been more helpful or quick to respond. We have had a great holiday and will be back - thank you Sarah!

A secret paradise?

This is a lovely property in an amazing, quiet and secluded position in a private estate. Even on a glorious sunny bank holiday when we stayed there were no more than 100 people on the beach and with the combination of sand, shingle and pebbles, it made for a great day at the beach in what is I believe unique coastline. All in all a privilige to be able to stay in this little oasis of calm and quiet. Loved it

Beautiful quiet location very close to private beach

The Palm House is a light airy and well equipped house in a private sea estate close to the beach. The beds and towels are sumptuously soft and comfy. It is only a few minutes walk to the private well kept sand and shingle beach. Even on one of the hottest weekends of the year it was still relatively quiet. There are several small shops in walking distance and local supermarkets will deliver. There is a wide grassy path along most of the top of the beach which is perfect for walking. There are a couple of cafes, one in each direction which stock local ice cream and drinks. Brighton is approx 40 minuets drive and well worth a visit. We booked parking on line through just park which was £10 for the whole day and very easy. The pavilion is amazing, don’t be fooled by the exterior! The interior is stunning. If you book tickets on line via the Brighton and Hove museum site you can skip the cues. If you book with other sites make sure you print off tickets as the won’t accept anything on your phone- the nearby library can help with this for 20p. Littlehampton is a a pretty seaside town with a few shops and amenities. The George at Burpham serves excellent food but you must book well in advance, local fish and chips are also good. We had a great week with some excellent weather and loved it.

Wunderbarer Urlaub am Meer

Wir haben eine tolle Woche in dem liebevoll eingerichteten Haus verbracht. Es war alles vorhanden, eine super ausgestattete Küche und gemütliche Zimmer. Das Haus befindet sich in sehr ruhiger Lage in einer Anliegerstrasse. In der Nähe sind einige Fish& Chips Läden, Pubs und kleine Supermärkte, so dass das Auto auch mal stehen bleiben konnte. Wir haben Ausflüge nach Stonehenge, Arundel und Brighton gemacht und natürlich sind wir auch nach London gefahren (sehr gut erreichbar mit dem Zug). Es war eine ganz tolle Zeit und wir wären gern noch länger geblieben.

Simply Perfect!!

The house has been very recently renovated. Everything is new and well decorated very cozy. The beds are comfortable the area is quite and close to the beach. Had a very peaceful time. The owners are wonderful to deal with so accommodating. I will return!!

traumhaftes Haus (fast) direkt am Strand

The Palm ist ein wunderschönes zweistöckiges Haus, 3 Geh-Minuten vom Strand entfernt; gelegen in einem ruhigen und überwachten EFH-Quartier. Es ist mit allem ausgestattet, was eine Familie braucht (inkl. Netflix Account, NespressoMaschine und Grill). Vor dem Haus ein grosser Platz mit Steinplatten, hinter dem Haus ein Garten mit Kunstrasen, damit die Kinder "bienenfrei" spielen können. In 5 min. Autofahrt ist der Golfplatz Rustington oder der grosse Supermarkt Sainsburys zu erreichen. In dem Umgebung ist das Märchenschloss Arundel in 15 min. mit dem Auto zu erreichen, sowie Brighton, Chichester oder South Hampton sind in der Nähe. Ein perfektes Haus für den Sommerurlaub in Südengland! Wir kommen gerne wieder...

The most relaxing place I have ever stayed

If you have never been to East Preston then you really are missing out. This is a residential village close to the sea, with an unspoilt beach, property to literally die for, easy walking for miles and all the day to day shops you need close by. The Palm House is everything you could hope for, modern quality fittings, the best bed I have ever slept in & a private garden you can always find a spot where the sun shines. If you want a quiet, relaxing holiday this is the location for you, a short car or train journey will take you to the more cosmopolitan towns of Worthing or Brighton. I will be staying again without doubt

Write your review title (required) Modern, comfortable and well equipped Characters remaining: 63 Tell us about your stay (required) Located in a peaceful private estate The Palm House has recently been renovated to a very high standard both inside and out. The garden and large patio were perfect for the children and for relaxing . The bedrooms are comfortable and the modern kitchen is well equipped . Not that the kitchen needs to be used much for there are excellent restaurants both within walking distance or a short drive away. Information regarding these was supplied by the owners. The local Chinese and Indian restaurants are well worth a visit. The house is a five minute walk to the sea down a quiet road. There is safe swimming and an excellent beach cafe can be found at the end of a pleasant stroll along the beach. East Preston proved to be a very good base for visiting the many nearby attractions with something to keep all of us happy. We enjoyed Worthing, Arun with its lovely castle, The Weald and Downlands Open Air Museum and West Dean Gardens. We also enjoyed relaxing at the Palm House. I would certainly recommend The Palm House to friends and family and indeed hope to rent it again later this year

Lovely house in great location

Had a great week staying at The Palm House. It is very conveniently situated within a 5 minute walk of the beach and of the shops and restaurants of East Preston. The house is very comfortable with plenty of space and very nicely furnished. Great beds. Very good wifi and signal. Great having the garden space too. A fabulous StayCation! 😀
