"Friendly family business, good value. Comfortable bed and hot shower which was exactly what I needed after 18 hours of international travel. I stayed 2 nights in late September to attend a wedding in nearby Ripponden. The room was quite chilly but I actually like sleeping in a cold room. A space heater was provided, though I didn’t use it as the bed was cosy enough.
It was handy that they served food downstairs and I really appreciated the vegetarian/vegan selections including veggie sausages...

"The room was great, far better than a Premier Inn, the pub/restaurant was excellent and served lovely food. The added bonus of breakfast included in the price also adds to the value! We wholly recommend and would stay again if we visit Oldham/Manchester again!"

"The pub and restaurant are closed from Monday to Wednesday, but, the rooms
are available, but, the breakfast is available, if you are staying there.
The Inn is surrounded by beautiful scenery, and ample parking.
The transport links are excellent to Huddersfield and surrounding areas.
Julie, the host, is very nice and knowledgable about the area, who also cooks
a very good breakfast. The room was clean and the bed was comfortable,
very spacious bathroom with a lovely selection of toiletries. ...

"Location..it has beautiful views of the surrounding countryside. ( need a car)
Rooms are very comfortable, tea /kettle etc.
Stairs are a little steep.
staff are lovely ,had a very pleasant stay.
We arrived Saturday lunch time, they had a party of 40 in, but fitted us in and it was delicious! staff attentive and it arrived quickly so all good, so I am very sad ( and surprised ) to say breakfast was poor ! we didn't opt for the buffet and cooked ,rather just the cooked, it took ages to appear...
