"Delightful visit to The George and Dragon! Friendly and obliging staff, great pub, room and breakfast. Rooms renovated to a high standard and beautifully furnished. Loved the windows which could be opened to cool the room and bonus bath to relax in. Friendly bar staff when we had a drink in the pub before bed and lovely lady served us at breakfast. Really impressed and highly recommend a stay. 10/10"

"We got to this property by chance. What a fun surprise. It is an old but very well kept inn. It has many beautiful hikes around. It is in the middle of nowhere. And that makes it even more fantastic. "

The reason I gave a poor review rating overall was because the fire alarm went off at 12:50 am and then rang intermittently for 45 minutes because apparently the Staff could not override a fault on the control panel or something like that. "Loved the old 17th century beams in the rooms and the uneven floors. Property was very quiet - even with the Football World Cup semi-final on while we were there. Staff were all incredibly helpful and loved the breakfast. 100% recommend and would love to take my dog next time as they are very dog friendly (they get a sausage at breakfast!)."
