Private Farm Stay Near Fishhawk & Alafia Trails, with Mini Goats

  • Unwind in the quiet of the country. Enjoy the pasture view in the backyard and woodlands from the front porch. Relax with family and friends at this peaceful high end upgraded manufactured home.

    The master bedroom has a king size bed with a nectar mattress and an en suite bathroom, television and views of the oak trees with Spanish moss and woodlands.
    The 2nd bedroom has a queen size bed. The third bedroom has a twin over full bunkbed with views of the goat pasture.

    The kitchen features stainless steel appliances, including a dishwasher and views of the adjacent pasture where you can watch the goats play. The dining table seats six. There is a washer and dryer in the laundry area.
    Located in rural Lithia, Lithia Cottage is 15 minutes from Alafia River State Park’s mountain biking, hiking and horseback riding. There are 5 nearby wedding venues within 10 minutes.
    Whether you’re looking for a relaxing getaway, visiting family in the Lithia area, enjoying Alafia River State Park or needing a place to stay between selling and buying a new home, or attending a nearby wedding, Lithia Cottage is the ideal rural retreat. There is a surveillance camera aimed at the goat pasture. No cameras are on the interior or other areas of the property.

This was a surprising and pleasing stay. I chose this location for the vicinity and price but was surprised with the surrounding peace and tranquility of the property. Morning sunrises from the back of the home over the goat enclosure and cow farm in the back. Really pretty and relaxing. The hosts were extremely responsive and compensating even with requests. Everything was terrific for our stay.

Wedding fun in Florida.

We had a very nice stay. It was in a nice rural area , close to restaurants and grocery stores. We would stay here again.

Quiet retreat with goats!

We had a very pleasant stay on a short trip down to Florida. The house was clean and spacious with easy covered parking. The goats were charming.

Accommodations were perfect. Very clean and comfortable. And the owners were very helpful with any questions we had. We were visiting grand kids who loved the house and kids room so much they insisted on doing a sleepover almost every night we stayed. And being able to feed the goats thrilled them. Can’t say enough good things about the accommodations. Except that if back in the area, we will definitely try to book this place again.

Country calm

We were in the area for our nephew's wedding. This location was perfect as it was quiet, safe, and cozy. The owners were very responsive and the house was well stocked. The location was a great launch for attractions in Tampa. We would definitely book again.

Charming

Check in was super easy. The kitchen was very well stocked with any utensils pots pans, etc. needed this was an amazing stay the goats in the back made it absolutely fun for my grandchildren and the owners are amazing. They respond quickly and are very pleasant to deal with. I absolutely would stay there again.

We had an amazing, relaxing time. Goats out back that greeted us every day. Such an amazing property! We will be staying here when we visit Tampa. One of our favorites.

Farm Life

We had a great stay! So much fun interacting with the goats, as well as the cows that came up from the pasture next door! We even saw deer on the road and a possum cross the road in front of the house. The neighborhood is quiet and we loved the country life! Wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again!

Great place

Such a great little hidden gem in Lithia. We needed a place to stay for 2+ weeks and it was perfect. Enough room for a family of six. Fully stocked with all the necessities.

This home provides a clean and quiet getaway for those looking to stay in the Lithia area. The goats are an added bonus. Property managers are thoughtful and very helpful.

Excellent stay

We were visiting family in Fishhawk and this made for a great overnight base for us. Clint and Heidi were friendly online and checked to make sure we were comfortable. The property had everything we needed.

Perfect

This is a beautiful little place and very quiet. We enjoyed the goats and being able to see the horses and cows in the field. This property had everything we needed, was very clean and organized. We really enjoyed this little country home. Heidi was very quick to respond to any questions I had. If you are looking for quiet this is the place.

Fun Farm Getaway!

We absolutely loved it. I needed a place where out toddlers could run and also our dog. A hotel just isn't the place for us to stretch out legs like that. This place was perfect. We woke-up to charming goats and very friendly cows! The hosts were great and house was comfortable and roomy!
