"I did not get use of the room as the hotel was locked up despite calling and leaving messages there was no reply . I had the inconvenience of having to travel 12 miles to find another hotel ."

"On arrival had a warm welcome from the staff who asked if we wanted drinks we said yes and that we had booked 2 rooms. We were given our drinks and they would bring the room keys to us in a few minutes. Young lady came over and asked if we would like to see the rooms, which I went with the young lady and shown the rooms. I rejoined my friends and told them the rooms were amazing and very clean. "This was a very nice clean location. Only down fall was the fact the fan in the room wasn’t that great down the unexpected hot weather, as the room was extremely hot. Other than that it was a great place."

"Everything about our stay was very good. Lovely clean room with everything we needed. Large bath with very hot water . Kettle with tea, coffee , biscuits etc , hairdryer and iron. Dinner was good and the breakfasts were freshly prepared. We enjoyed our drinks in the bar and the prices were very reasonable. Staff Lovely and friendly, will certainly think of returning. "

"We were visiting for a gig at Piece Hall and are so glad we chose to stay at this absolutely wonderful hotel on the outskirts of Halifax. From the moment we arrived the staff were warm, polite and helpful and this continued for the duration of our stay. As it was such a nice day, we sat in the beautiful garden and enjoyed drinks and food from the bar menu before heading into town for our concert. . Breakfast (extra) was also very good indeed. It says parking, but that is hit and miss, with parking permits issued, but several cars in the car park without them and therefore difficulty finding a space. The room although quite well presented was very small, more of the size I would have expected for a single room, not double.
